Newly renovated pet friendly period cottage in the heart of Happisburgh on the Norfolk coast. Albion Cottage is situated just outside the church gates in the center of the village on a very quiet lane. Perfect for summer breaks or winter escapes alike, this charming, elegant cottage is ideally located just 10 minuets from a glorious sandy beach. It is located adjacent to the owners' home in one of Norfolk's most picturesque coastal villages. We offer a 15% discount, out of season, if just 2 people are staying.

The cottage has two charming drawing rooms, one with a cosy log burner and the other features a handsome open fire. The decoration throughout is heaven with its William Morris wallpapers and coverings and fine pieces of furniture.

The cottage sleeps 3 adults and a baby/toddler or 2 adults with 2 children and a baby/toddler or 4 adults (1 adult in a bed settee in the living room). We welcome pets - up to 2 large dogs, 3 medium or small dogs, 2 cats and any pet in a cage - and charge £25 per dog or cat per visit

The village itself is now famous for the oldest evidence of human activity outside of Africa with footprints discovered on the beach to be over 900,000 years old.

The cosy local pub, within 50 meters of the cottage, echoes the local connection with 'Sherlock Holmes' author Arthur Conan Doyle who visited many times and wrote one of his books here.
