About the home

This beautiful barn loft was totally refurbished in 2008 to an extremely high standard. It is set within a small courtyard of an AA 4star inn, situated in a peaceful, lakeside village. The Inn is renowned for it's fabulous food and service.

The accommodation has an abundance of beams and consists of a master bedroom with solid oak furniture and a large bed settee in the lounge which is perfect for children. It is also set within acres of beautiful ground offering you a perfect base to retreat to and relax.

Close to many local attractions you can enjoy plenty of activities.

From the courtyard you enter the front door and climb stairs to enter the spacious lounge. With a flat screen TV and comfortable sofa you can really feel comfortable and relax.

The bedroom measures 17ft x 10ft and has velux windows with seating at one end.

The bathroom is fully tiled with a shower and bath.

Everything within the property is brand new.

The Loft is set within acres of private grounds with it's own bowling green. It has a private garden with furniture and it's own barbecue area.

There is plenty of parking.

The Inn is known for it's food from full English breakfasts to sumptuous steaks.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Shropshire region

The Roman City of Chester is a short drive away and no visit would be complete without a 2 mile walk around the walled fortification. www.cityofchester.org.

Chester Zoo is the UK's number one zoo with over 400 different species with it's own monorail and walk through a bat cave!

Cheshire Oaks is the largest designer outlet village in the UK.

The magnificent Chirk castle is less than 30 minutes away and whilst there, visit Ponteysyillte Aquaduct, an amazing 200ft high, 200 year old canal that you can either walk over or take a canal boat.

The Hanmer area

Hanmer is a small, lakeside village, part of a large estate from 1300 years ago. the village is dominated by the mere, part of the North Shropshire complex of glacial lakes.

The fascinating church of St Chads has links to Owain Glyndwr, the last native Prince of Wales. Within the village there is a small grocers shop.

The Meres Lakes offer boating and beautiful lakeside walks.There are also fishing lakes locally and The Hill valley and Carden Park Golf courses.

This area is also perfect for a spot of birdwatching!
