This property is situated in Tantana Akouda ( Chott Meriem)which is circa 2 miles from the Port in El Kantaoui and the route via the beach is even shorter. When the street you live on is kilometres of white sand beaches it makes for very enjoyable walks. It is located beside a string of famous 5 star hotels but more importantly it is situated on miles of the most fantastic white sand beach complete with sand dunes. Taxi,s are not expensive but always agree a price before you get into the taxi . If you are looking for a truly amazing holiday then this apartment will surely exceed your expectations with the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Recommend you purchase a 3G SIM card from Orange or Tunisia for internet on your phone and hotspots for your iPad s etc. currently awaiting installation of the landline and wifi buts looks like December/January for this. Northern Tunisia region
The region is called Sousse and the local area is El Kantaoui, the property is just 150yds past the boarder of El Kantaoui and Tantana Akouda. The area is well known to repeat visitors to the area and the property is 500m up the beach from the Palm Marina Hotel, the Bellvue Hotel and The Imperial Marhaba Hotel. Instead of turning right to these hotels when coming from Port El Kantaoui, go straight through the roundabout at the Soviva Hotel and take the right turn about 150 m at the pharmacy and drive straight down the sandy lane to the beach. It is a sandy lane and if you look carefully you will see the street name Rue ABDELWAHEB BEN HALIMA on the side of the pharmacy wall at the start of the lane, then just drive until you meet the sea which is approx 600m. The lane is a typical sandy and bumpy beach road and suggest you drive carefully . Improvements are in the pipeline but will take time. The Apartment is in Residence Dar Jabbara and is easily identifiable with its unique Art Deco style.
