The village of Hamble itself is at the mouth of the world famous sailing location the Hamble River.To the Westerly side of the river is the picturesque village of Warsash which is home to the famous nautical college the School of Navigation.These two villages are linked by a quaint pink ferryboat.An ideal destination to discover Hampshires coastline and countryside.
Part of Hampshire's Strawberry trail , ideal for walking and cycling. Spot the gold postbox in the village in honour of Danni King's
2012 Olympic Gold Medal.
Quaint village with river frontage hosting excellent pubs & restaurants take aways and local shopswithin 15 minutes walk of the house.
Points of interest within an hours drive include Chichester , Winchester and Salisbury with their famous cathedrals. The cities of Southampton and Portsmouth with their historic ports and dockyards. Both towns have world class shopping centres. Beaulieu and the New Forest National Park with its free roaming ponies and splendid walks. Slightly closer to home Netley Victoria Country Park with its first world war hospital site and beach walks along the Solent. Manor Farm Country Park which is ideal for children as it has a hands on old fashioned farming and lifestyle theme. For the more adventurous young at heart is Paultons Park which is a childrens theme park with Peppa Pig World set in a beautiful garden with museum and bird averies.
