There's also a large sitting room, a spacious dining room, a kitchen and a utility room, while outside, there's off road parking for one car plus shared use of the owner's lawned garden. Chare Close Cottage offers a welcoming base within one mile of well-loved Hadrian's Wall and just five minutes' walk from local amenities including shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. A cosy base for all.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Known as the 'Centre of Britain', this small market town is a great place from which to explore both Northumberland and Cumbria. Haltwhistle boasts a good range of shops and pubs - one of which, The Black Bull, is a real ale pub serving good food! There is an excellent leisure centre with heated open air swimming pool and cycle hire in the town, with pony trekking nearby. One of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian's Wall is only a mile to the north. A fantastic base for a Nortumberland adventure!
