The Gazebo is a beautiful place to stay, the previous reviewer is right to say that the pictures don't do it justice. It is lovely and cosy but far more spacious than I thought it would be. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I loved the bedroom, flooded with light from three big windows and great views from each. The large garden is well kept and lovely to sit in and admire the views on a nice day (which remarkably it was warm enough to do in October!). I'd definitely recommend the cottage to anyone but it especially makes a perfect romantic retreat. |

The cottage was exactly what we hoped for, the original stone and brick work made it feel even more special. The log fire was put to full use everyday and night to keep us warm from the winter weather outside. Although the weather was less to be desired ( heavy rain everyday) this almost added to the cosiness and warmth of the cottage. The views over the valley were stunning in every direction and we had a lovely view of fireworks on New Years eve. We would definitely recommend this get away to couples looking for a romantic getaway or families with young children. Perfect location with so much to do and a perfect cottage. The pictures really do not do it justice. |
