The East Anglia / Suffolk region

Suffolk is a peaceful rural area, with many places of interest to visit. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is within easy driving distance, with the famous coastal town of Southwold just eight miles away, with its spectacular promenade, sandy beaches and recently rebuilt pier, along with being the home of the Adnams Brewery. Also local to the area are Aldeburgh with its beach and summer theatre, Thorpeness with its boating lake, Snape and the famous concerts at The Maltings, Walberswick, Dunwich, the Minsmere Bird Reserve and access to the Norfolk Broads at Beccles. There are also many historic castles, gardens and museums owned by the National Trust and English Heritage, including Sutton Hoo at nearby Woodbridge. There are also animal parks and zoos, gardens, steam railways, boat trips etc.
The Halesworth area
Halesworth is a picturesque market town with a colourful selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants along its pedestrianised Thoroughfare. It has its own cinema and Theatre, museum, outdoor pool, Golf Course, Riding Stables and Railway Station.
There is a fabulous Golf Course just a few minutes away, an outdoor pool, cinema and Theatre in Halesworth, an indoor pool at nearby Bungay, and riding stables, cycling, vineyards and even a llama farm within just a short drive.

Guestbook for Weavers Cottage
1) What a beautiful cottage, a very comfortable home from home. We only had a week here and really don't want to go home today. - Mr & Mrs H, Oxford
2) What a find! At last, a comfortable, clean and pretty bolthole for us to come to. The cottage is thoroughly homely and has everything needed, see you again for sure! - Mr & Mrs P, Hertfordshire
3) We have enjoyed our stay in Weavers Cottage. It is very cosy and comfortable.. My husband especially enjoyed the log fire. Thank you very much for leaving the lights and heating on for our late arrival, and the welcoming tray and flowers that greeted us. The cottage is so well equipped - you have thought of everything - Mr & Mrs B, Surrey
4) My wife and I have stayed in many cottages in this country and gites in France but this, without doubt, is the best we've ever experienced. The perfect holiday. - Mr & Mrs C, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
5) Oh! We don't want to go home! The cottage is lovely, comfortable and so homely. An ideal base to visit all parts of Suffolk. - Mr & Mrs P, East Sussex
6) What a superb cottage for our Spring holiday. So clean, homely, well-equipped and in such a convenient location for walking to the lovely shops in Halesworth. Our children loved all the games and puzzles, the toys in the garden, the play area just a short walk away, and I even found a blender to puree the baby's meals. We have enjoyed the sunshine in the garden, the log fire for the cooler evenings, (great for chestnuts in Winter, I bet!) and the fun of weathering a torrential storm from the safety of the conservatory. Perfect! We will be coming again! Mr & Mrs L, West Yorkshire
