About the home

An ideal location for all the great Orlando attractions. If you want theme parks, play golf or relax or all three our superb villa is in a prime location. Only 20 - 30 mins from all the major theme parks, but there are many other local attractions you can visit Cypress gardens and Fantasy of flight are within a 15 min drive and are an excellent day out.

If you want to go further a field Tower lakes is an ideal position for all major roads, Kennedy space centre and Coco beach are approx (75mins) with Busch gardens (60mins) are easily accessible.

All the essential shops, fast food outlets, restaurants, banks and petrol station are just 2-3 mins down the road with Southern dunes golf course next door and other courses nearby.

Our villa is tastefully decorated with T.V.s in all bedrooms and D.V.D players in 2 main bedrooms. A 42" flat screen T.V. with DVD player and satellite TV are located in the main lounge and free WIFI internet connection is available.
A fully fitted up- graded kitchen with granite work tops has all utensils and a ice maker.

The garage has been converted into a well equipped games room which has pool table, air hockey, dart board and playstation with games.

Our villa comes with an extended decking area (not overlooked), screened heated pool and spa with (removable) safety fence to prevent access for small children. There is access to a bathroom from the decking area.
Our villa is on a gated community with a clubhouse and fishing/boating lake for guests use.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking in villa, but is allowed on patio.
Refundable bond of £200 $400 in case of brakage/damage will be refunded within 28 days of end of stay.
A £200 $400 deposit required at time of booking, with the total amount due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

The villa is ideally located in Polk County just off Highway 27, 5 miles south of Interstate 4(I4). It offers easy access to all the major attractions, Disney is 20 minutes and the airport 35 minutes. Within a 2-3 minute drive are all the essentials needed for a villa holiday, Wal-Mart, Walgreens and others for the basics.

Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Checker, Popeyes and more are in the same area, as are petrol stations and banks.

The Haines City / Calabay Parc at Tower Lake area

If you are intending to visit the major attractions, seek out new attractions or simply laze by the pool or in the spa enjoying the hot sunny days Tower Lakes is an excellent location. Due to the all year round summer climate golfers will enjoy the 41 courses in Polk county alone with Souther dunes one of the highest rated in just next door.

Water sports, fishing, water skiing and air boat rides are in abundance, in some of the lakes they even have scuba diving. Cycling is also possible in one of the 4 parks nearby.

If shopping is on the agenda there is numerous shopping malls with the newest Poser Park just 5 mins drive. It houses shops such as J.C. Penny, Belk, Target, Dicks Sports with lots more opening soon.

Cypress gardens and Fantasy of Flight are two of the less visited attractions but are worth visiting. Haines City is one of the oldest cities in Florida and is commonly know as the Heart of Florida, its main street is a division of the National trust Historic Division.

Just a quick e-mail to say that we are now back in the UK – we arrived back last Saturday morning and the week since then has passed by very quickly! We had a great holiday and the villa was absolutely brilliant – we could not have asked for anything better. We stayed at Minniehaha villa at this resort 2nd two weeks in May. We had originaly been booked earlier but had our plans scuppered by the ash cloud. Just after we contacted the owner to inform them of our issue we were called back offering us a change of dates at no extra cost. This allowed us to re-arrange flights and still have our full vacation. The villa is really lovely in a quiet gated community. As it's new all the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. The games room was well equipped and every bedroom had a flat screen telly with DVD. The pool was quite large with a spa and was not overlooked. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Some people think this area is too far out but we return to this location every year as the roads are quiet and still only 20 mins (max) drive to Disney. There are also some good shops and bars/restaurants nearby. The new Posner park is great with a good variety of shops whilst being quiet and uncrowded. The villa owners Sue and Paul Welsh were a joy to deal and we were so grateful not to lose any of our holiday due to their generosity.
