The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
The villa is situated in a rural area 15 - 20 minutes from Disney, & approximately 40 - 45 minutes from Orlando International airport, and.approx. 1 hour from Sanford Airport. The Tampa area is 1 hour's drive, & the east coast is approx. 1 hour 15 minutes. The weather is normally good all year round. There are many other golf courses close by.
Haines City / Southern Dunes area
Southern Dunes is an award winning golf course rated # 5. There are many other good golf courses nearby. Southern Dunes is a gated community with a Walmart store at the entrance, which is open 24/7. There is also a Winn Dixie store, petrol station, banks, food outlets & many eating places on the doorstep. The Club house has a bar & serves food. There are 3 communal swimming pools as well as tennis courts & a fishing lake. Cypress Gardens is approx. half an hour away. Disney World is 15 - 30 minutes away, while Universal Studios & SeaWorld are just a little further on the I-4.
How to get there
Easy to reach from Orlando International airport. Take I-4 west, then Highway 27 south. Approximately 40 - 45 minutes drive.
