About the home

This freshly decorated upscale villa is located on the grounds of 'Southern Dunes Golf And Country Club', a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The home features a private, south facing swimming pool with screened in pool enclosure, and optional pool heat. The spacious, open concept design features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

This 1600 sq. ft. single story villa is comprised of 2 gorgeous master suites; one having direct access to the private pool deck, with super king size bed, an en-suite bathroom and large walk in closet. At the front of the home you will find the second master bedroom with queen bed, private en-suite bathroom and large closet. Both of these master bedrooms are equipped with new 24” HD LCD TV's. Two twin bedrooms, each equipped with two twin beds and 20” TV sets are located between the 2 master suites and share a separate 4 piece bathroom.

The 'open concept' living plan features a well equipped kitchen including refrigerator, range, microwave and dishwasher. Included in the kitchen area is a new rattan dinette suite with seating for 5, situated in front of a large picture window viewing the pool and patio.

The open style family/living room encompasses a formal dining table that seats 6 adults. Two leather couches make for comfortable lounging in front of the new 42” LG HD TV featuring 100+ HD channels. Or you can gaze out the large double patio door that accesses the pool and deck.

The south facing pool & deck afford full sunshine throughout the day. As well, ample shade is provided by the natural contour of the house and partial roof overhang, offering a shaded alcove for dining. There is also a large, mobile 9 ft. patio umbrella that can be placed anywhere on the deck when you wish a break from the sun.

Southern Escape Villa located in the Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club Community is approximately 20 minutes from Disney and the other theme parks. There is a Walmart Supercenter (with full groceries) & a Win Dixie Grocery Supermarket located at the Main Gate Entrance exactly 7/10 of a mile from the house…about a 10 to 15 min. leisurely walk. There are numerous restaurants located across the street from Walmart on the other side of US 27 and as well the Golf Course Club House has an excellent restaurant located right in the subdivision.

For sun starved vacationers “Southern Escape” Villa with south facing pool and deck is situated in a perfect location within Southern Dunes.

Haines City, considered the ‘heart; of Florida is only a short 20 minute drive to all the famous attractions. It is situated half way between Disney World and Legoland.

Southern Dunes is a 40 minute (35 mile) drive from Orlando International Airport.
From Orlando International Airport take Route 528 until you meet I-4.
Head South (towards Tampa) on I-4 then take exit 55 signed Haines City/Clermont.
Take US Route 27 towards Haines City. Travel 7 miles south on Route 27 until you come to a WALMART Superstore on the left. Turn left at that light and enter Southern Dunes which is a gated community.
A GPS navigation unit will prove very helpful throughout your stay in Florida.

Car Rental is inexpensive and necessary wherever you stay in the Orlando/Disney area as public transportation is limited. Suggested choices include Alamo, Dollar and National, all very competitively priced.

“Great location to all the attraction that Orlando has to offer!” This property was situated in a location that was very close to major roadways. This provided us with the opportunity to access all theme parks quickly and easily. There were never any hassels getting in and out of Southern Dunes gated community. The satf at the gate were always friendly and helpful. Outside the community of Southern Dunes were opportunities to grocery shop and get any other essential items that were needed during our holidays. We ate at a fabulous restaurant called 'Manny's Chop House' just minutes aways from the house. However, the kitcken in the this house was fabulous in order for us cook meals and keep our holiday budget in order. The kitchen was supplied with all dishes and cooking utlinsels needed to prepare a meal. The house was a great base for our holiday. Upon arrival, the house was clean and spacious. The children enjoyed the pool everyday. It was a great opportunity for them to cool off after a long day at one of the theme parks. As moms, we enjoyed the use of the washing machine and dryer. This enabled us to keep up on the laundry and minimalize the work when we returned home.

“Wonderful Villa and Comfortable” Was so impressed with the villa we booked, it was terrific, large rooms, good size bathrooms and a great kitchen for when you want a day off from eating out. The pool was great and we had the sun all day when we stayed at the villa. Disney was only a 25 minute drive from the Villa providing you took the I4, even going to Kissimmee it was better going to the I4 and taking whatever exit you require. Would go back to this villa tomorrow.
