"Port Randal" Villa is located in beautiful Southern Dunes, which boasts the No. 5 rated Golf Course in Florida, and although of Championship standard, there are five sets of tees to suit all levels of golfer. The beautifully appointed Clubhouse boasts an extensive Lunch / Bar Snack Menu from mid-day till late afternoon, and the Buffet Sunday Breakfast is extremely popular with visitors. As is usual in Florida, the cost of eating out is very cheap.
"Southern Dunes" is situated just a short 15 minute drive from all the fantastic attractions of the Disney Parks, and just South of the the City of Orlando, with it's famous International Drive and associated Shopping, Restaurants, and Tourist Attractions.
The Villa is extensively fitted out and furnished to a very high standard, including all the comforts and facilities one would expect in the beautiful "Family Home" which it is.
At the entrance to Southern Dunes there is a 24-hour Walmart Superstore, a 24-hour Pharmacy and a Bank. Across the road are Several Restaurants, Takeaways, Shops and Post office.
All this makes "Port Randal" a very desirable choice for a really memorable either Golfing or Disney vacation, with the private & heated Pool Area to return to and relax in the evening.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
Florida's other name, "The Sunshine State", really says it all about this wonderful part of the US, with virtually "Year Round" sunshine and temperatures into the seventies even in January.
The Orlando Area of Florida, being situated centrally in the State, has everything one could wish for in a vacation.
It boasts the fabulous "Disneyworld" , superb Shopping, Eating Out, Nightlife and of course it's also a Golfer's Paradise.
Although situated in central Florida, the beaches of the Gulf Coast in the West and the Daytona Area on the Atlantic side are no more than an hours drive away.
Haines City area
Southern Dunes is located just South of Orlando, and as well as all the necessary facilities "just outside the gates", The towns of Haines City, Winterhaven, Kissimmee, Clermont are all reasonably close.
In the immediate area there is the famous "Heart of Florida" Medical Centre, Banks, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, a Post Office and various Restaurants, including McDonalds.
Haines City has an extremely good Library with Computer facilities.
Even though Southern Dunes has it's own Golf Course, there are more than twenty other "Pay & Play" courses within a short drive, and the green fees are much cheaper than in the UK, and will always include a Golf Cart. The area really is a "Golfing Paradise", and not expensive!
As well as the Disney Parks, there is a great number of other attractions in the area. These include such world famous names as Universal Resort, Sea World, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens. There is also the charm of smaller attractions including Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, Gatorland, Orlando's Odditorium & WonderWorks.
Because Southern Dunes is located just some seven miles off the Interstate Highway I-4, places like the Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach to the east and the Tampa area of the Mexican Gulf to the west are within a reasonable driving distance away.
In short, the location of "Port Randal" villa is such that all of the well known landmarks and attractions of Central Florida are very easily reached!
How to get there
From the UK, the most popular Airlines are Virgin, Continental Airlines & Globespan. These airlines will fly to Orlando International Airport (MCO), or Sanford (SAN).
Orlando International is approx. 38 miles from the Villa, and Sanford is about 68 miles away.
From both of these the route is simple and uses the same roads.
For your Car Rental you should try "Car Hire Agency", who cover all the popular Florida Car Rental companies.
From MCO the South access road from the airport leads to Route 417 South, (Central Florida Greeneway). At the end of this road it automatically merges with the main Interstate I-4, signed I-4 West (Tampa). At exit 55, signed Haines City / Clermont, take US route 27 towards Haines City. At 7 miles south on the 27, about two miles past the "Heart of Florida" Medical Centre you will see a Walmart Superstore on the left. Southern Dunes entrance is adjacent to this. From Sanford, the route is exactly the same, but from further North on the 417.
