The East Anglia / Suffolk region
The region is dominated by medieval heritage buildings and farmland both agricultural and livestock. Kersey & Lavenham were famous cloth producing regions in the middle ages; the hallmarks and history are still evident in the Guildhall and Kersey ancient 'weavers' cottages.
East Anglia is famous for it's beautiful and varied coastline. 20-30 minutes drive from Kersey there are classic breakwater beaches at seaside towns evocative of the 1950's ,as well as rural coast and rivers: the River Orwell passing the famous Orwell bridge, and the Deben, both popular for sailing. Further afield you can take a trip to the nature reserve Dunwich where you see seals swimming nearby posh Southwold (famous for it's pricey beach huts).
Activity wise, there are plenty of places to visit from National Trust to fun days out for the family. There are lots of lovely pubs and restaurants within 10-30 mins drive of Kersey.
Sporting facilties include three nearby golf clubs, local tennis courts for private hire & a fitness gym. There are sailing clubs in Ipswich and on the Orwell & Deben.

Guestbook
'Many thanks for allowing us to stay in your fantastic property - Stay Barn easily exceeded our already high expectations. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. but that at least gives us an excuse for a repeat stay. What a beautiful part of the country- Kersey is idyllic and the beach hut the icing on the cake.'
Much better equipped than a standard letting and attention to detail excellent including use of beach hut, extensive film collection in cinema room and many garden/bbq accessories.
Mr B from London (2 families and 2 children & a baby)
'As your first customers we have to congratulate you on having thought of everything to make our stay very memorable. You certainly achieve your aim of providing extra special touches not usual with holiday lettings. Certainly as good as any 5 star hotels I've stayed in - I slept so well in the super soft sheets. The robes and hairdryers were useful and refreshingly good quality.
We found the reservation service really helpful for both meals out and bike hire - a nice touch. The kids loved the home cinema, which meant we could shut the door and enjoy some peace and quiet! We love the historic towns and Stay Barn was a truly special place to stay.' Roger, Ellie, Jimmy, Katlin James - New York
