Dee Dee Retreat Villa 2 is set in a large tropical garden which fronts onto the beautiful Had Thong Lang beach. The Villa has spectacular views across the bay and out to the islands of Koh Ma and Koh Tao.
The villa consists of two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a large living area, a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area. Plasma screen T.V’s and sound systems are installed and a DVD library is available. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans in all the rooms. Outside there are large terrace areas which lead down to the shared pool with sun loungers and sun umbrellas around it. Paths lead down to the sala seating and dining area, and to the secluded sandy beach.

The villa is decorated in a Thai/ European fusion style, with four-poster beds, exotic fabrics and contemporary Thai furniture creating a stylish, relaxed ambience that you can enjoy in the villa, terraces and gardens during your stay.

The villa staff will clean daily, chefs and baby-sitters are available on request. Boat trips, diving trips, island tours, car and motor-bike hire can all be arranged for you.

The small picturesque fishing village of Chaloklam is a ten minute drive away

The Koh Phangan region

Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in a chain of islands including Koh Samui, the Angthong Marine Park and Koh Tao. The majority of the island is hilly and covered with dense jungle, sloping down to the sea. Bays with white sandy beaches surround the island, some accessible by roads or tracks, some only by boat. The island is quiet and peaceful, the pace of life is slow and relaxing.
Attractions
Boat trips, either by speedboat or the local “longtail” fisherman’s boats around the island are a great way to see the beaches and hills. Day trips to the Angthong Marine Park are highly recommended. These islands are all well known as diving centres, the diving and snorkeling in this area is considered world class.
The island has a number of Bhuddist temples, also some Chinese temples reflecting the Chinese ancestry of many of the island’s original inhabitants. For the adventurous, trekking through the jungle is spectacular, either on foot or on the back of an elephant, the panoramic views are magnificent, the many waterfalls are worth visiting.

Had Thong Lang or "Golden Deserted Beach" is exactly that and Dee Dee Retreat is the only property adjoining the beach so offers total seclusion.

There are a number of different spas, massage and yoga schools offering daily or residential courses and treatments.

How to get there

Only 30 minutes by boat from the neighbouring island of Koh Samui, location of the nearest International airport, and with long established boat services to the mainland, Koh Phangan is easily accessible through a variety of transport links.
