About the home

This is a fantastic 2 bed apartment overlooking a stunning large swimming pool and the 7th Fairway of the very impressive Par 72 championship golf course designed by the team of 'The Great Bear' himself - Jack Nicklaus.

Patio doors open from the lounge onto a large south-facing terrace and private grassed garden, furnished with sunloungers for your relaxation together with table and chairs for dining al fresco. With one double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, it is ideal for families, with loads of activities in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

This apartment can also be a haven for Golfers, enjoying special 'owners' green fees and offering guests the variety and challenge of playing a different high quality golf course each day, all within 20 mins drive. Bedrooms can be arranged as 2 twin rooms if required.

Bedroom 1 has a super-kingsize bed, which can also be arranged as 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, with the facility to arrange a third single bed for a child if required. A travel cot and high-chair can be provided on request. Both bedrooms have ceiling to floor wardrobes and a digital safe is installed in Bedroom 1 for storing all your valuables during your stay. The bathroom has all the standard fittings together with an over-bath shower facility.

The kitchen is very neatly arranged and the generous-sized utility gives plenty of storage space for Golf Clubs, Swimming toys, clothes airer etc.

We have installed Satellite TV with many English channels, a DVD Player and a Radio/CD player for you to enjoy.

There is secure underground parking for your convenience

The grounds of Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort are a joy to behold with wide tree-lined avenues and stunning views over the golf course and surrounding mountains. You get a great feeling of healthy, spacious, 'get-away-from-it-all' living as you enjoy leisurely walks around the resort. If you want to stay fit during your break, there is an outdoor gym, tennis courts and paddleball courts very close to the apartment. There is also a muti-purpose playing pitch where adults and children alike gather each evening when the sun cools down to play football - brilliant fun for all the family.

A cleaning/laundry charge of €70 is payable to our rep on arrival. A small laundry supplement will be payable if you wish to have a linen change during your stay.

Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the apartment and restricted to the terrace area only.

Conditions

1) A Booking Deposit of £150 is required to secure and confirm your reservation. Final payment will become due 6 weeks prior to travel date. Bookings made within 6 weeks of travel date are payable in full at time of booking.

2) A Security/Damage deposit of £150 is required which will be returned to you within 10 working days of the end of your stay, subject to satisfactory inspection. This is payable with final balance of payment.

The Murcia region

This apartment is ideally located in the Costa Calida/Murcia area which enjoys hot summers and mild winters, with average annual temperatures of 21 degrees and over 300 days of sunshine every year.

Just 20 minutes drive away are the beautiful, idyllic beaches of the Mar Menor - often described as "A Paradise between 2 seas", with their warm shallow waters ideal for swimming and a haven for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, jet-skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling. With the long hours of sunlight and the high level of minerals in the water, the Mar Menor is also very famous for its healing mudbaths, recommended for arthritis, skin conditions and your overall well being. The famous sports resort of La Manga is just a short drive down the coast.

Enjoy the traditional surroundings, restaurants/bars, museums, fiestas and many carnivals taking place throughout the year in the historical towns of Cartegena, Caravaca de Cruz and Lorca.

The beautiful, culturally rich city of Murcia with its artistic heritage, amazing architecture and lively night-life is every visitors dream and is only 25 minutes drive from the resort. The shopping is amazing in this city, and to make it even better, a new shopping centre with over 200 stores has opened beside the new Football Stadium, home to Real Murcia Football Club. A new Water Park and Animal Park has also opened in this area - so a visit to this city is a must for all the family.

Many competitively priced airlines fly into Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante Airports i.e. Ryanair, Easyjet, BA, Jet2 amongst others.
There is an excellent road network in the region with travelling time from Murcia Airport to resort approx 15-20 mins and Alicante Airport to resort approx 50-55 mins.
