Second Floor Apartment at Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course, 2km from Sucina, 16km from beaches at Los Alcazeres, Santiago de la Ribera and Lo Pagan. Near the cities of Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca all great historical places to visit with with its excellent shops and restaurants. Shared pool, satellite TV and internet, telephone to receive local and international calls, however it can make outgoing calls within the golf complex only.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Cálida extends from El Mojón in the north near the province of Alicante, to near the municipality of Águilas in the south bordering on the region of Almería province.
The northern end of this coastline includes the Mar Menor ("Little Sea"), a coastal saltwater lagoon which at around 170 km2 is Europe's largest. The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a 22km-long spit of land out into the sea called La Manga.
Cartagena and Mazarrón are two other important coastal cities in the region.
Murcia and Lorca are two cities to visit which are full of history and is full of lovely shops,restaurants,cafes, bars and night clubs
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort area
The village centre at Hacienda Riquelme is based upon the style of the existing Hacienda which is to be refurbished into 2 restaurants. The luxury village centre to be built around the Hacienda will become the social centre with a golf clubhouse, restaurants (including Italian and Mexican themed restaurants), bars, supermarket, beauty salon, pharmacy, clinic, car rental, travel agent, banking facilities and more!
If you want to do some sight-seeing or shopping, visit the lovely, old port of Cartagena, a walled town with its remains of Roman buildings, or exciting Murcia, the regional capital and modern city with its excellent shops and fine restaurants. Guardemar sits at the mouth of the River Segura and is well known for its seafood cuisine and many special evenings. Torrevieja has many esplanades, parks and gardens as well as cliff walks, many natural beauty spots and well served marina.
There is a huge variety of nightlife with bars, restaurants, shops, casinos and clubs catering for the young as well as the young at heart. Shops open around 10 am and close around 1 pm, opening again at about 5 pm until 9 pm.
Hacienda Riquelme is 2 km from Sucina, a traditional rural Spanish village away from the hustle and bustle, with the Columbares Mountains as its backdrop. There are three banks, an RC Church, bars, restaurants, mini supermarket, post office, bread shop, DIY shop, chemist, petrol station and lots more!
If you want to relax come and soak up the sun on one of the many beautiful beaches, such as Los Alcazeres or Santiago de la Ribera. Each is situated 16 km from the apartment and are located on the shores of the Mar Menor (little sea often called the biggest swimming pool in the world) where the depth does not exceed 7 metres and is a huge salt lagoon formed by the strip of land known as La Manga.
For the sporty, there is tennis on site or go further afield for open-air sporting activities such as river-rafting or fishing on the River Segura, water sports on the Mar Menor, mountain biking or horse riding along routes offered by various riding centres. Visit water parks at Torrevieja and Quesada, or for an even larger water park, go to Benidorm!
All the 18 holes have been completed at Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the 6,416m course is 72 par and built to professional standards. The course has stunning panoramic views of mountains and olive groves as well as views of the coast.
The Nicklaus Golf Trail comprises four golf courses: Hacienda Riquelme, La Torre, El Valle and Mar Menor, all of which have large, open driving ranges and beautifully maintained practice greens. The pro shop offers coaching year round. The Nicklaus Golf Trail is all within a small radius and there is a free shuttle bus connecting all the courses. So if you don’t feel like driving or you like to have a drink after a round, you can just catch the courtesy bus.
How to get there
Hacienda Riquelme is 2 km from Sucina, driving time from Alicante Airport to Hacienda Riquelme is approximately 1 hour, driving time from St Javier (Murcia) Airport to Hacienda Riquelme is approximately 20 minutes.
Budget ailines from the UK that fly into both airports are are Ryan Air and Easy Jet. I would also recommed using the car hire company - Carjet.com for a good service
