2 bedroom second floor apartment overlooking a magnificent pool and the 12th and 13th fairways and greens, it also has fabulous views of the mountains. The building is in a very quiet location and is not overlooked by other properties. We also own the apartment next door (2B) which can also cater for up to 6 people.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Murcia is situated on the Costa Calida (the warm coast) between Costa Blanca and Costa de Almeria. The region is easily accessible via Alicante airport (about 45 minutes) and Murcia-San Javier airport (about 15 minutes). Getting around in the region is easy by car as the area has a modern road network connecting all the major towns.
Weather in the Costa Calida is very mild, making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer & winter months. The Costa Calida and its surrounding areas are sheltered by mountains. The region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 300 days per year. The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of sand 22km long, which forms a barrier creating a shallow, warm lagoon, The water is no more than 8m at its deepest point; with no tides, this makes the Mar Menor an excellent location for water sports adn ideal place for to take your children. .
At San Pedro Del Pinatar - There is a nature reserve on the salt flats , The famous mud baths in the salt flat area . Having done the mud ,it certainly makes you feel refreshed and very smooth skin. Flamingos are also in abundance.
Los Alcazares is 5 minutes drive further past San Javier airport .Alongside the beach is a mile long promenade. There is a large marina, excellent shops, restaurants and bars, and a new shopping mall complete with cinema. Each October, the town celebrates its municipal independence, granted in 1983, with a spectacular week long fiesta.
Murcia (25 minutes from Sucina) is a vibrant ,cosmopolitan city with wonderful architecture, fantastic shops and tapas bars, and even a casino.There is a stunning cathedral with year-round exhibitions. Definetly recommended.
Cartagena is a great city, also wonderful shops and tapas bars.The old town was built around the ruined 13th century cathedral and there are several sites of historical interest including the remains of the Roman road, and an old Roman theatre. Another great day out.
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort area
Hacienda Riquelme is situated about 15 minutes drive from the coast, with the magnificent back drop of the Murcia mountain region. It is the most tranquil and lowest density of all the Polaris world resorts, giving you a feeling of space. The 18 hole par 72 golf course, which forms part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, offers Europe’s best golf all in one convenient location. Whilst staying at the resort you will have access to the Mar Menor, La Torre and El Valle resort facilities and golf courses.
Hacienda Riquelme has at present a temporary supermarket, cafe/bar, golf shop all for your convenience whilst the town centre is under construction.
There are several communal pools you can relax by all conveniently positioned, giving you full advantage to enjoy the sun, golf and relaxation. There is a complimentary coach up and running that will take you to the other resorts, La Torra being only 10 minutes away, whose facilities include a supermarket, bars, several restaurants, spas, beauty salon, club house.

We are pleased to say that we drove down this year through France and what a great way to travel to our apartment in Spain with our 2 children. We took the early morning ferry to St Malo and made our way to Nantes then Bordeaux and San Sebastian, we had picnics on the way which was great.
The scenery was stunning especially the fields of Sun flowers. We pre booked a Hotel in Pamplona and arrived at 10pm. Next morning we set off at 9am and made our way though the lovely countryside to Zaragoza, Valencia then down to Murcia.
San Javier (Murcia) Airport is about 20 minutes away & Alicante about a 50 minute drive.
RyanAir, Easy Jet, Monarch, Jet2 and BMI baby fly into the region.
Car Hire is available at the airport and it's best to pre-book.

It's large covered front terrace, with seating & dining table/chairs, overlooking the 12 & 13th holes, it boasts unspoilt views of the Mountains & captures the late afternoon/evening sun perfectly. Both bedrooms lead to a smaller terrace which captures the morning sun.
The apartment is furnished to a high standard throughout to provide comfort & relaxation for everyone.

The apartment next door we also own (2B) and has the same facilities as 2A, which means up to 12 people can stay in the two apartments.
Further details outdoors: The pool below the apartment is fantastic, great size and perfect for all swimming levels, it also has a small children's pool. Cycling, jogging and walking around the resort is recommended as it is a great circuit to keep fit. Tennis courts, Juice bar and a fitness centre will be opening in the very near future.
