About the home

Luxurious and Spacious 11th Fairway Frontline Ground Floor Apartment. Spectacular Golf, Lake, Pool and Mountain views from the Terrace and Garden. Beautifully furnished with Air Conditioning and Central Heating. Two Twin Bedrooms with Ceiling Fans and the optional use of a Two Seater Sofa Bed in Lounge (Suitable for children). Bathroom with Bath / Shower. The Apartment has a fully equipped Kitchen (Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, and Microwave. Etc). The Dining Area seats 4, with the option to seat 6 on the Terrace. The Lounge area has a Flat Screen Satellite TV, with all standard channels aswell as, Spanish. Dutch, German, French Channels, DVD Player with DVD Collection and a CD Player that allows the use of i-Pod/Mp3 players.

Enjoy a cool relaxing drink on the Terrace, watch the sun go down, while the BBQ cooks your evening meal.

A Security Deposit of £150 is payable in advance at time of Booking along with a Holiday deposit of £75.

The Security Deposit will be retuned in full upon inspection of the property by our on site representative, within 7 days of departure.

A Cleaning and Laundry fee of 55 Euros is payable locally on arrival.

A Meet and Greet service is available, were our on-site representative will meet you at the Main Entrance, take you to the Apartment and show you round. This Service is provided for 15 Euros and is payable locally.

A basic welcome pack can be provided for arrival, price subject to requirements

The Murcia region

The region of Murcia in the Costa Calida is blessed with a fantastic climate averaging 21c. with around 320 days of sunshine a year, making this an excellent location in every season. Much less developed than the Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca, Murcia is full of lemon, orange and olive groves, beautiful scenery and lovely beaches

The apartment is situated 15 minutes drive from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. Shallow warm water enclosed by the La Manga strip. A variety of restaurants are available at each resort. Further afield you can visit Torrevieja or even Benidorm if you want excitement, shops and fun (and of course sun and sand). Most beaches are well equipped with Beach Beds and Brollies.

There are many places of interest to visit, of course the beautiful beaches, the historical city of Murcia, go exploring the local towns with friendly bars and restaurants, there are countless places of interest in an area steeped in history, plus loads of outdoor activities, horse riding, water sports, hiking and cycling is only the tip of the iceberg.

20 mins you can be at the first aqua park in Murcia, Aqua Natura, which is part of the zoo Terra Natura is now open.

Terra Natura Wildlife Park, Murcia, will cover an area of 13 hectares and will be home to more than 400 animals The Park will have some unique attractions, perhaps one of the most ambitious plans is to recreate the Masai Mara natural park which is situated in East Africa.
Terra Natura has had major success with its park near Benidorm where it has become an established tourist and visitor attraction. There you can swing over an elephant enclosure, or go swimming with baby sharks.
There is a serious side to the attraction as nearly 1% of its ticket sales are ploughed into the Terra Natura Foundation, which as you might expect is dedicated to the long term welfare of animals both in the parks and in the wild.
Aqua Natura, the first water park in Murcia, is part of the zoo Terra Natura, is 30,000m2 and is split into three different areas:
One with slides (10 slides which includes the Kamikaze ride)
The "lazy river" where you can relax and let the water take you along. This area includes a solarium where you can rent sunbeds.
The swimming pool has a separate children's pool.

You will find Markets everyday somewhere within a radius of 15 minutes from the apartment. Cartagena a city steeped in history is a 50 minute car journey, while the capital city of Murcia, lies 15 minutes to the north. Large supermarkets can be found within 20 minutes. Locally in the village of Sucina (5 mins) you will find Chemist, Banks, Supermarkets, and a varied selection of Bars and Restaurants.

CYCLING

The area is ideal for cycling with both quiet flat roads and mountain passes up to 1,200mt in the Sierra Espuna national park. With the regions mild winters, the apartment would be an ideal base for training / preparation weeks.
Spanish cycling star Alejandro Valverde lives in the region and uses these roads for his training, and you are likely to bump into him and the Murcia training group during your rides.

The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort area

The Apartments have been designed around a magnificent Jack Nicklaus designed 18 Hole Par 72 Course, with 24 Hr gated security. Several other Jack Nicklaus designed courses La Torre, El Valle and Mar Manor (the Nicklaus Golf Trail) nearby, Courtesy transport between the courses is provided via a shuttle Bus. A joining HR Golf Resort is Peraleja Golf a Seve Ballesteros designed course less than 5 minutes away by car. On Resort Facilities in the fully restored Hacienda include Bars, Restraurnts,Cafe, Supermarket and Pro Shop. Also on the Resort you will find Tennis, All-Weather Sports Court and Outdoor Gym.
