The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The region of Murcia in the Costa Calida is blessed with a fantastic climate averaging 21c. with around 320 days of sunshine a year, making this an excellent location in every season. Much less developed than the Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca, Murcia is full of lemon, orange and olive groves, beautiful scenery and lovely beaches
The apartment is situated 15 minutes drive from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. Shallow warm water enclosed by the La Manga strip. A variety of restaurants are available at each resort. Further afield you can visit Torrevieja or even Benidorm if you want excitement, shops and fun (and of course sun and sand). Most beaches are well equipped with beach beds and brollies.
You will find Markets everyday somewhere within a radius of 15 minutes from the apartment. Cartagena a city steeped in history is a 50 minute car journey, while the capital city of Murcia, lies 15 minutes to the north. Large supermarkets can be found within 20 minutes. Locally in the village of Sucina you will find Chemist, Bank, small English Supermarket, Bars and Restaurants.
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort area
The Apartments have been designed around a magnificent Jack Nicklaus designed 18 Hole Par 72 Course, with 24 Hr gated security. Several other Jack Nicklaus designed courses La Torre, El Valle and Mar Manor (the Nicklaus Golf Trail) nearby, Courtesy transport between the courses is provided via a shuttle Bus. A joining HR Golf Resort is Peraleja Golf a Seve Ballesteros designed course less than 5 minutes away by car. At present facilities include (Bar, Supermarket, pro-shop etc) with full facilities due in the renovated Hacienda in summer 2009.
Special Golf deals currently include a 2 for 1 offer between midday and 5pm or €30 per round after 5pm. In addition at Hacienda Riquelme, you can enjoy half price buggies and trolleys all day or between midday and 5pm on other Polaris resorts. These offers are available until the 15th September 2008. Or for the real enthusiast, you can book 5 rounds of golf and a buggy for €250 or just the golf for €200.
A Handicap Certificate is required.
How to get there
Murcia's San Javier Airport is 15 mins by car , while Alicante Airport further up the coast is 1hr 15.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
A Security Deposit of £150 is payable in advance at time of Booking along with a Holiday deposit of £75.
The Security Deposit will be retuned in full upon inspection of the property by our on site representative, within 7 days of departure.
A Cleaning and Laundry fee of 55 euros is payable locally on arrival.
A Meet and Greet service is available, were our on-site representative will meet you at the Main Enterance, take you to the Apartment and show you round. This Service is provided for 15 euros and is payable locally.
A basic welcome pack can be provided for arrival, price subject to requirements.
