About the home

Hacienda Riquelme is a beautiful 18 hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design (Jack Nicklaus company). It has tight fairways, big bunkers, greens and lakes. There are numerous other golf courses in the area and a free shuttle bus is provided to take you to the other Polaris world golf courses.

This is a new development and the golf course and driving range is now open! The 'town centre' of Hacienda riquelme is still to be completed but will be by spring 2009. there are make shift facilities at the moment such as a supermarket, pro shop and bar/cafe.

The apartment is air conditioned and has beautiful views of the fairways from the terrace.
It is equipped with a leather sofa with chaise longue, dining table and chairs. a flat screen TV with digital TV showing Spanish and English channels, DVD/CD player . The apartment is centrally heated too.
Bedroom 1 and 2 - has two double beds and fully fitted wardrobes

Separate bathroom with full-size bath, overhead shower, wash basin, mirror, toilet and bidet, towel rail.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. Iron and ironing board.

*airport pick ups available at cost of 25 euros from Murcia and 70 euros from Alicante each way.

The Murcia region

The region of Murcia is situated on the Costa Calida (the warm coast) between Costa Blanca and Costa de Almeria. The region is easily accessible via Alicante airport (about 45 minutes) and Murcia-San Javier airport (about 15 minutes).
Weather in the Costa Calida is very mild, making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer & winter months. The Costa Calida and its surrounding areas are sheltered by hills & high mountains therefore boasts great sunshine for over 300 days per year.
The beautiful Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of sand which forms a barrier and has created a shallow, warm lagoon. There are over 15 beaches with protected bays and coves on the sides of the Mar Menor.
Murcia is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with wonderful architecture, There is a stunning cathedral with year-round exhibitions, wonderful shops and tapas bars, and even a casino.

The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort / Polaris World, Hacienda Riquelme area

Hacienda Riquelme is built around an 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus The complex boasts a 24 hour gated entrance manned by security guards backed up by CCTV coverage.
Our ground floor apartment overlooks the 3rd fairway and green and is adjacent to the communal swimming pool.
The ‘town centre’ at Hacienda Riquelme is being built around a 19th century Hacienda and will host a superb club house, supermarket, restaurants and bars and will be an excellent facility when completed in 2009.
Also as our guest on a Polaris World site you are welcome to use the excellent facilities at the neighbouring Polaris World Resorts at La Torre, El Valle and Mar Menor.A free shuttle bus is provided to all the other courses.
At present there are make shift facilities such as a supermarket, bar , clubhouse on site.
