This two-bedroom apartment is probably in one of the most sort after positions on this amazing resort. Overlooking the golf course to the front and the hills to the rear, it is the perfect place to relax in the Mediterranean sunshine. The apartment is fully equipped and furnished with a holiday feeling in mind. The resort centre, pools and amenities are an easy short walk away. The resort has created a large choice of pools, fun shapes, large children's pools, smaller and quieter ones the choice is exhausting and all on your doorstep and never very busy.The beaches of the Mar Menor are a 15-minute drive away and the beaches of the Mediterranean are on your doorstep, clear warm sea, they are just great. At the same time you have the full facilities of a Jack Nicklaus18 hole golf course on your doorstep.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Murcia is one of the regions with the most sunny days a year, an average annual temperature of 21º C, and 250 km of shoreline along two seas: the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. This Resort is designed for the ultimate experience of freedom and nature, one that provides an incomparable feeling of well-being generated by the rational layout of its flanked avenues, its perfectly incorporated plant life, and its low construction density. It all comes together around a late 19th Century, colonial-style country house.

It was the home of the Riquelme Family, descendants of Guillén Riquelme, a noble knight who accompanied King Alfonso X the Learned on his conquest of Murcia. It has been restored to preserve the country house tradition of the Murcia of yore, and to maintain the balance between the romanticism of the past and the modernism of the future. The house has been recreated as it existed in those times, with gardens of the area´s native plants, which intertwine with the rays of sunlight that shine over this wonderful land of Murcia.

How to get there

Hacienda Riquelme is between San Javier and Murcia in the region of Murcia. The resort is on the outskirts of the Spanish Town, Sucina. The closest airport is San Javier, Murcia which is a 20 minutes drive. The airport of Alicante is a 60 minute drive away. Budget Airlines Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Thompson Fly,Fly Be and Monach Airlines fly into the listed airports along with a number of main airlines. Car hire is available at both Alicante and Murcia San Javier airport bookable through most recommended search engines.
