Hacienda Riquelme is a beautiful 18 hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design (Jack Nicklaus company). It has tight fairways, big bunkers, treacherous greens and lakes. There are numerous other golf courses in the area and over the next couple of years the Nicklaus Golf Trail will be complete.
Note:- This is a new development and the golfcourse and driving range is now open! It is anticipated that there will be bars, shops and restaurants in the resort in the near future. For the short term, our apartment is ideal for keen golfers seeking the challange of the many surrounding golf courses oranyone wanting a base to visit the local area and discover the beauty and treasures of Murcia.
The apartment is fully air conditioned and has beautiful views of the mountains from the balcony and views of the olive groves to the rear . It is equipped with two double sofas (one being a double sofabed), a flat screen TV with digital TV showing Spanish and English channels, DVD/CD player plus a dining room table and chairs. The apartment is centrally heated throughout.
Bedroom 1 and 2 - with your choice of comfortable 2 single beds that can be pushed together to make a double bed.
Both bedrooms have doors to small balcony, full air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes with hangers, bedside tables and lamps.
Separate bathroom with full-size bath, overhead shower, wash basin, mirror, toilet and bidet, towel rail.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. Iron and ironing board.
The balcony is furnished with glass topped table and 4 matching chairs, 2 sun loungers and small potted plants.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Mediterranean bathed region of Murcia, is not only known for its beautiful beaches, but also for a great number of natural beauties still to be discovered. It is precisely its natural charms and contrasts that makes Murcia outstanding from other regions.Natural open spaces that look like the most desolate deserts share common ground with lush fertile green lands like the valley of Segura and the valley of Guadaletin: modern residential neighbourhoods reaching out to connect with small medieval towns.
Embedded in between parts of the mountains of the Sierra de Orihuela and the Cresta de Gallo lies Murcia, the city which is due to the large and sophisticated watering system, very famous for vegetables. La Manga has become one of the most important resort areas of what is called the ‘Costa Calida’ or the Warm Coast on the Costa Blanca.
The Murcia region was first populated by the ancient Iberian tribes which started intense commercial relationships with the Phoenicians and Greeks, founding commercial factories on the coastal area. It is maybe thanks to this that its history has always been connected to seafaring activities and agriculture. It was a Carthaginian colony and then taken over by the Moors who graced this part of Spain with an advanced system of irrigation which has made Murcia’s crops famous world wide, even nowadays.
This aspect has helped its gastronomy become very popular with a rich balanced Mediterranean diet in elaborating stews, salads, baked meat and rice dishes. But you must not forget that its closeness to the sea also gives it its rich culinary seafood delicacies. And what would be a Spanish meal without a good wine.
The diversity of the landscape, the privileged climate and the cultural and historical richness make Murcia the perfect region to live in and enjoy the outdoors, practise water sports in the Mar Menor, explore its mountains, go hiking, rural tourism... and of course, the many challanging golf courses in the region.

This Resort is structured around a magnificent, 18 holes, par 72 golf course by Nicklaus Design. This course is different from the others in the Nicklaus Golf Trail, a group of six golf courses that make up Europe´s best golf offering.
Ample fairways are combined with hard to approach greens, and bunkers ready to complicate your game. And all of it surrounded by wild flowers, olive trees and large lakes. A fun course that will bring the best shots out of every player.
Life at Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort will be full of conveniences to make your day-to-day activities much easier. It will soon feature, a community centre with coffee-shops, wine bars and restaurants, a fitness centre, beauty salon, sauna, steam baths, laundry facilities, pharmacy,surgery, travel agency, car hire, Kiosks with international newspapers, Sports complex with a fitness centre, Commercial centre, with a bank and a cashpoint.

Getting there is easy; all you have to do is choose the best way.
Alicante International Airport 70KM - about 45 minutes. San Javier International Airport 20KM - about 25 minutes. Both are well serviced by major budget airlines including Easyjet/Ryanair/British Airways/ Monarch etc
Corvera Airport (Under construction) - about 20 minutes.
Oslo, London, Dublin, Cologne, Stockholm and Amsterdam - about 2 hours by plane..

- A £75 deposit is payable at time of booking and the balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure. - A refundable security deposit of £150 will be payable at the same time as the balance payment - The security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return subject to satisfactory property inspection.
Please note :- a cleaning fee of 55 euro is charged which can be paid locally. (An optional mid stay clean is also available with fresh linen upon request for a small charge of 30 euros.)
15 euros - A ‘Meet and greet’ service is available (OPTIONAL) – Our Key-holder will supply the keys to the apartment. They will also explain how to use the white goods, TV, Aircon, cooker etc. – Please pay key-holder upon arrival (Latest time is 9.30pm)
