Our apartment is located on the 4th floor overlooking the 12th and 13th fairways and comfortably sleeps up to 4 people. It is serviced by a lift and is furnished to the highest standard using local furniture manufacturers and artists. The apartment comprises

The main living areas and bedrooms are fully air conditioned and the bedrooms are also fitted with high quality ceiling fans. The whole apartment has full central heating.
Our apartment is situated in a quiet part of the resort, however the main centre is a mere 15 minute stroll away whilst the main gate is a 5 minute drive. There are two swimming pools situated within 50 metres of the apartment for those wishing to have a dip and the new sports area is only 100 metres away.
This Penthouse is ideal for families, couples or foursomes and offers the very best accommodation on the resort for those wanting something a little bit special.

The swing sets and climbing frames are situated around the course and free to use by all guests. The tennis courts are available for an additional charge payable locally.
Bicycle hire is available on the resort and details can be provided if required.
Conditions
A €50 cleaning fee is payable locally at the end of your stay.
A 25% deposit is required on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before your stay begins.
A security deposit of £150.00 is required for all stays and is payable with the balance. If no breakages are found or excess cleaning required after your stay it will be refunded in full within 7 days.

Airports
Murcia airport, actually situated in San Javier, is currently our closest airport being only a 20 minute drive away. It is a small and very friendly airport with the normal facilities including several car hire companies. With the current road improvements the journey to/from this airport is getting quicker.
Alicante airport is the nearest large airport and is about a 50 minute drive away. A typical large airport it is serviced by all the usual airlines and can be reached from most UK airports. It too has a large selection of facilities.
Corvera airport is a new and exciting airport under construction and will be a 15 minute drive from the resort. This new airport will host the latest in technology making your transit through the airport as easy as possible. It will offer travel from throughout the UK and is destined to put the area on the map.
Beaches
A 15 minute trip down the RM-1 brings you to a series of beautiful and often quiet beaches. Not as commercialised as some of its neighbours this part of Spain is where the Spanish like to holiday, taking advantage of the clean and uncrowded beaches and unique climate. This area is famous for Mar Menor (small sea), a large, saltwater, inland lake which is the place to go for the more exciting water entertainment. Running along one side are a series of beaches, marinas, water sports and waterfront villages whilst La Manga strip runs down the opposite side, separating Mar Menor from the Mediterranean Sea. La Manga strip has a large variety of hotels, restaurants and clubs and is about 50 minutes drive away.
Shopping
If you fancy some retail therapy then a trip to the city of Murcia is a must and it's close at hand being a mere 30 minute drive away. Murcia offers the largest selection of shopping for all tastes and budgets and there are several shopping areas. For those that like a designer label a trip to Calle Jabonerias in the heart of the city should be top of your list. Murcia even boasts two El Corte Inglés' stores (Spain's department store) within 100 metres of each other.
Cartagena is a large town boasting a variety of shops including an El Corte Inglés and is only a 40 minute drive away. It is much smaller than Murcia so is ideal for those that do not like big cities. The traffic is lighter and parking is easier.
Just outside Cartagena is a retail park, Parque Mediterráneo, which has a DIY superstore, a large sports shop, an electronic superstore, a Carrefour supermarket and a large shopping centre, Espacio Mediterráneo. This has a number of smaller shops including clothes shops, gift shops, food outlets, sports shops and even a C&As. It also has a bowling centre, cinema and casino and plenty of parking.
Closer to the resort is Dos Mares which has a large Eroski supermarket, a variety of shops and some familiar, and less familiar, food outlets. There is also a multiscreen cinema and a large car park.
Restaurants
The small town of Sucina is just 2 kilometres away and has several traditional and European restaurants. The number of restaurants is steadily growing as Sucina develops to support the surrounding resorts.
A 20 minute journey into the surrounding areas brings you to a variety of villages and towns, that all have a selection of local and international restaurants. Things are changing rapidly in the area and there are always new and exciting places to eat.
Golf Courses
The Murcia region is fast becoming the place to stay and play golf in Spain. There are a huge variety of golf courses all within 30km of HRGR. Obviously there are the Polaris World courses but beyond that there are over 20 courses in the area to suit all abilities. Polaris World offer a shuttle bus service during part of the year to all their courses.
Days Out
Murcia has a rich and varied history and this can be seen as you walk through its intimate streets. There are a large number of historic sites to visit from the main town square to the 14th Century Cathedral. Murcia played an important role in Spanish history especially during the 18th Century which is known as the Murcian Golden Age.
Murcia also has its own fun days out for the whole family with Terra Natura and Aqua Natura. Terra Natura is a new-generation wildlife park where you can stroll around the animals with no visible barriers. Aqua Natura is a waterpark with all the usual thrills and spills of pools, chutes and much more.
The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort / Polaris World, Hacienda Riquelme area
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort (HRGR) is situated only 20 minutes from Murcia (San Javier) airport and 50 minutes from Alicante airport and is fast becoming THE place to play golf. With so much to see and do in the area a hire car is recommended; however, airport transfers can be arranged at a small extra cost. Forming part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, HRGR is now firmly fixed on the semi-professional circuit.
Surrounded by a national park, HRGR gets its name from the 19th century, colonial style Hacienda which forms part of the resort centre. The Hacienda was originally owned by the Riquelme family who were descendants of Guillén Riquelme, a noble knight who accompanied King Alfonso X the Learned on his conquest of Murcia.
The resort currently boasts

- the practice area. Consisting of both a driving range and putting area ideal for tuning your technique
- the Dovecote. A newly created bar which serves snacks throughout the day
- El Casón. Our brand new Restaurant and Bar serving international cuisine for lunch and dinner
- the new supermarket. Now fully stocked with both local and British goods
-the Pro Shop. A one-stop-shop for all your golfing needs
-the Picnic Area. A well situated, peaceful location ideal for family picnics and get togethers
The resort also has around 20 swimming pools and a sports area which includes tennis courts, squash courts and a general court which can be used for team sports. Also situated throughout the resort are well equipped children's play areas. The surrounding area has an abundance of well signposted walks and cycle paths. Bike hire is available on the resort, please ask us for details.
The resort also has its own security team who are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They not only perform the gate security but also patrol the resort regularly and can be used if there is an emergency.
