About the home
We have tried to make our apartment as comfortable and stress-free as possible for all of our guests. The relaxing, cool lounge has two brown leather sofas, flat screen LCD TV with satellite digibox (with UK channels) and air conditioning and heating. Patio doors lead to our terrace and small garden with outside dining table and chairs with two comfortable wicker armchairs and two sunloungers available for your use.
We have a modern open plan dining area dining table and four dining chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you would expect in a luxury self catering apartment including oven, hob, extractor, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave/grill, pots & pans and utensils. There is also and ironing board and iron.
Our apartment has two comfortable bedrooms. One with a double bed and fitted wardrobes, bedsife tables, lamps, dressing mirror and one with twin beds also with ample storage in the for of fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, lamp and wall mirror. Both have free standing electric fans.
The bathroom is well fitted with bath/shower, WC, bidet, vanity unit with mirror above and basin. A shower mat is provided for safety. There is also a hairdryer here for your use.
Our comfortable terrace leads onto a small garden. The terrace is north facing and keeps out apartment cool in the hot summer. However two steps onto the landscaped gardens and you are in the sun, perfect for sun worshippers like me, or even better 10 metres away is the communal pool.
There are beautiful views from our terrace of the pool, golf course and Hacienda in the distance. Take the lift to the top floor and from the rear there are stunning views of the lemon groves.
Hacienda Riquelme is the perfect location for people who want a peaceful family holiday, golfers, and provides a pefect base for exploring the beautiful Spanish countryside and beaches.
The resort is ideally suited for those wanting either a golf break, family holiday or just simply to relax. As with all the Polaris World Golf Courses, they are dedicated to be enjoyed by both beginners and more experienced players.

Our apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
The apartment has 1 bathroom for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.
The apartment has television satellite/cable. WE NOW HAVE FREE INTERNET / WIFI AVAILABLE FOR OUR GUESTS
Eating & Living:
There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, and oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a kettle. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and an ironing board. We have also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.
This is a non-smoking apartment.
Pets are not welcome.
Our property is suitable for wheelchair users as it is a ground floor apartment. There is also a lift to get to the underground parking.

Our apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a north facing garden, a north facing patio area, and a tennis court. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
Our apartment has views of the infinity pool, golf course and Historic Hacienda (country house), beautiful landscaped gardens and lakes.
Sports facilities are also available within the resort. These include an outdoor gym, tennis courts, paddle courts and a sports court for a variety of activities including football. This area is approximately 10 minute walk from the apartment.
Our key holder lives on site andis available to help with any queries, advice or help you may need during your stay
We will require a £100 deposit, which will secure your booking and be used as a security bond and returned to you as soon as the property has been checked following your departure. The full amount is due 8 weeks before your holiday commences. Our charges are from £280 (offpeak) - £340 (highpeak) per week.
You will always receive email confirmation of any payments made. Full arrival instructions including directions will be sent to you once full payment has been received (8 weeks before your arrival).
WE WILL ADD A COMPULSORY ONE OFF £55 CLEANING FEE TO YOUR BOOKING QUOTE. The apartment will be professionally cleaned before and after your visit . There are no additional local charges to you, unless you choose any optional extras eg meet and greet, welcome pack, collection to and from airport. We can arrange these EXTRAS for you upon your instruction and payment will need to be paid locally to our properrty manager.
Arrival time is 3pm local time and the apartment must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. You must let us know if you wish to vary this.
The Murcia region
The climate is Murcia is very mild (and well known for it), making it an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer and the winter months. Murcia and its surrounding areas are in the main sheltered by hills and
high mountains, allowing for a kind of micro climate. This limits rainfall, and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year.
The sun is at its hottest during the summer, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Whereas the typically very mild winters, boast averages of around 18°C (64°F).
The province of Murcia is famous for its salt lakes (salt is a major export). This has a major knock on effect on humidity levels, and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain and Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, mean the WHO (World Health Organization) have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates on the planet.
The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort / Polaris World, Hacienda Riquelme area
The regional capital and University City on the river Segura is around 30 minutes away by car. This vibrant city was founded by the Moors in 825AD and boasts a beautiful Cathedral and University, as well as Botanic Gardens, Museums and other historical builinds arouns its narrow, but characterful streets. The municipal Casino on Calle Traperia might look like a gentleman's club from the outside, but it's open to the general public - just ask the commissionaire for a look around and he will gladly oblige.
Shops include El Corte Ingles, (the Spanish equivalent of Selfridges or Fenwicks etc) and numerous designer label shops on the Calles Traperia and Plateria, dozens of great restaurants and a lively nightlife, especially during fiestas and carnivals.
Head south for about 25kms and you will come to Spain's oldest port. Cartegena is one of Spain's oldest cities, and still of major maritime importance to Spain, both commerciallt and militarily. A multitude of civilisations have left their mark on the city as numerous archaeological sites and museums will testify. In the heart of the city is a modern shopping area, which spills down past the tapas bars to the recently revitalised harbour. Here you will find the World's oldest submarine on display built in 1884 bye a local man Isaac Peral.
Santiago de la Ribero and Lo Pagan
Two traditional Spanish seaside towns at the Northern end of the Mare Menor. The beach of Satiago de lla Ribera is lined by tall palm trees along the promenade and there are numerous shops, bars and cafes to explore. There is also a new out of town shopping centre called Dos ares on the outskirts of Santiago de la Ribera, whilst Lo Pagan has a lively fish market on the Esplanade every morning.

Thanks Katherine and Anthony. We had am amazing time at your beautiful appartment, we were gutted when we had to leave. It is the most laid back and relaxing place I've ever been. Back to work this morning. We have been looking at flight dates for next time already.

stopped here with friends in early July, what a fabulous break. The accomodation was lovely and the site and facilities were great. Could not have sought better accomodation and location. Will stop again definately!!!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. It was equipped to the high standards as described and has also now got free internet / WIFI. We visited many attractions during our stay but by far the best for us was the horseriding facilities at Peraleja Golf. All the arrangements made for us by the owners and keyholder Aiden were perfect and we will be visiting again soon and would highly recommend this beautiful apartment and resort of Hacienda Riquelme
