About the home

A well decorated home of three full size bedroom and two-bath villa. With the living room extended and a full size bedroom added on the first floor. Situated on the Fair way of the 14th hole (Par 5) of a Dave Thomas Championship Golf Course.

The villa is in a quiet location with a view of the fairway and the mountain range. Only 15 min walk to the Club House and Spanish Village.

The villa has been furnished in a modern Spanish theme, the high ceilings and marble flooring throughout the house provide nice summer coolness while you can enjoy and relax with an evening drink before dinner. This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

The Murcia region

Costa Calida is known for its all year round warm climate and spectacular mountain scenery. The nearby Sierra Espuna National Park is Spain's Largest nature reserve which is an ideal place for trekking and mountain biking.

The beaches and water sport facilities of the Mar Menor and Mazzaron are 30 minutes away and offer warm waters and safe bathing. La Manga Strip and The port of Cabo de Palo are approx. 30 minutes and are renowned for its fresh fish restaurants.

The region is steeped in history. The historical city of Murcia is approx 30 minutes drive with its fabulous shopping streets surrounded by historic buildings and churches and 20 minutes at the opposite direction South is the Port of Cartagena with many historical Spanish Navy buildings and the port is still being use by the Spanish Navy. This little sea port has some of best modern shops & an abundance of bars & restaurants.

The Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort / Fuente eld Alamo area

Our villa is located in the stunning new development of Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort, endorsed by Peter Aliss and has Miguel Angel Jimenez as its touring pro and is tipped to hold a European Tour event in the near future.

The resort is in a rural position surrounded by mountains and a 7,400 yard Championship Golf Course designed by Dave Thomas, guaranteed to test golfers at all levels. There is a 6 hole Golf academy course, pro shop and impressive 2 tier driving range and practice area. A stunning state of the art clubhouse has recently opened which offers spectacular views of the golf course and distant mountains.

The Hacienda del Álamo Hotel will be first class. In keeping with the Resort's architecture, the hotel is horizontally designed. The rooms will be luxurious and exquisitely designed “bungalows”, with all the modern conveniences. The accommodation will be private and peaceful, with all the services that one expects from a hotel of this standing: restaurants, lounges, convention centres, conference rooms, spa, gardens, etc. Hacienda del Álamo residents will never be certain whether their friends have come to see them or to enjoy the hotel.

The local town of Fuente Alamo is only 5 mins. away and has a host of traditional and modern bars, restaurants and clubs. The town has super market and a local market on Saturday morning.

By car:
Road links to northern Spain have been improved, with the A7 toll motorway running more or less right through to the ferry ports of Northern Spain, or connecting to fast roads up to the Channel tunnel.
The new motorway RM 2 will be open in a few months, placing Hacienda del Alamo in a really strategic location. Very close to the sea and the main cities of the region. Exit number 27 will provide access to Hacienda del Alamo.

then it’s 860 kilometres to Fuente Álamo.

By plane:
Four airports serve this corner of Spain; Alicante, Murcia, Valencia and Almeria, and another is opening in a few years time at Corvera, the closest to Fuente Álamo. So with Spanish roads tending to be better, wider and emptier than in the UK, it’s easier to choose the nearest airport you wish to travel from in the UK, and, possibly, leave a longer but more pleasant drive from the Spanish airport.

Directions from Murcia Airport (San Javier) to Hacienda:
Go straight out of the airport, avoid 1st slip road to AP7 Alicante - carry on to roundabout & take AP7 to La Manga & Cartaghena. At 800 KM sign take A30 to Murcia.

At Art Deco factory on right take RM2 to Alhama & Fuente Alamo.

At Junction 25 for Hacienda, take slip road to roundabout. Take 1st turning (sharp right) signed for Hacienda del Alamo.
Go down a dip & take the 1st left in the dip [ to your right is a tunnel]. Hacienda is straight ahead with a tall green tower.


Directions to Murcia / San Javier Airport from Hacienda del Alamo:

Go straight ahead out of Resort & turn right in the dip (before the tunnel), come to roundabout & take the 2nd RM2 exit for Cartaghena & La Manga.

Take the A30 turn off for Cartaghena & then take the AP7 turn off for Alicante.

Take the San Javier airport turn off & follow the airport signs. Go past arrivals & departures to drop off your hire car.


Directions from Alicante Airport to Hacienda:
When you leave the airport follow the signs for the motorway to Murcia (E7). After about 45 minutes, just before you reach Murcia the road splits and you then need to follow signs for A30 Murcia/ Cartagena. You actually stay on the same road. As you go through Murcia the signposts just say A30 Cartagena. Keep going and you will go over some mountains. After about 15 minutes you will see an exit signposted Roldan, Fuente Alamo and Balsapintada. Take this exit and at the end of the slip road turn right towards Fuente Alamo. Keeping going for about 5kms going through the village of Balsapintada, when you reach a roundabout go straight across and go into Fuente Alamo. You will come to another roundabout which is a strange shape turn right here, there is a signpost for Hacienda del Alamo. Keep going along this road for about 3kms and Hacienda del Alamo will be on right.

“Excellent Villa, perfect golf location, relaxing and peaceful” The condition of the villa was excellent, the grounds and pool were very well maintained. Great views over the golf course and mountains. The golf resort was very quiet, which made the stay very relaxing and peaceful. The food in the clubhouse was lovely, the pub food was not as impressive as the clubhouse, but the prices reflected that. We stayed with 2 young children (4 and 7), they loved the pool and grounds, so were very happy, as were our parents who enjoyed the golf. The only downside was the length of time it took to travel anywhere, at least 40 mins to the beach, oh and the heat, but that was our fault for travelling in August!!

“Absolutely Perfect! Highly Recommend For The Ideal Relaxing Break.” This was fantastic in every way from start to finish - villa was beautiful with a brilliant pool. Villa had everything you would expect from being in your own home - very well thought out. Great service being met at the entrance to the Golf Course and escorted to the villa and with the added bonus of having immediate access to Yvonne or John. Facilities at the Golf Course are excellent and there is also tennis courts available for a very small fee which my sons really enjoyed. Villa was in perfect location with a great view and nice a quiet to sit and read by the pool. Would definitely recommend - will be returning again next year!!!!
