This spacious villa has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6-8 people making it the perfect getaway for a group or family holiday. Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom.The bedroom on the mezzanine level has it’s own private living area as well as a rooftop jacuzzi which boasts stunning panoramic views of Haad Salad Bay. The main living area is open plan and has a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom.
This idyllic villa also has plenty of space for outdoor living. Relax on the sun-loungers on the patio area or take in the sea view from the infinity pool. Although close to local facilities, the villa has a secluded feel and offers a level of privacy which you just cannot find in a resort or hotel. The Koh Phangan region
Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in a chain of islands including Koh Samui, the Angthong Marine Park and Koh Tao. The majority of the island is hilly and covered with dense jungle, sloping down to the sea. Bays with white sandy beaches surround the island, some accessible by roads or tracks, some only by boat. The island is quiet and peaceful, the pace of life is slow and relaxing. Attractions Boat trips, either by speedboat or the local “longtail” fisherman’s boats around the island are a great way to see the beaches and hills. Day trips to the Angthong Marine Park are highly recommended. These islands are all well known as diving centres, the diving and snorkeling in this area is considered world class. The island has a number of Bhuddist temples, also some Chinese temples reflecting the Chinese ancestry of many of the island’s original inhabitants. For the adventurous, trekking through the jungle is spectacular, either on foot or on the back of an elephant, the panoramic views are magnificent, the many waterfalls are worth visiting. Spas There are a number of different spas, massage and yoga schools offering daily or residential courses and treatments.
Haad Salad area
Haad Salad or Salad Beach was called Pirate Beach by the local residents. The sheltered bay and nearby mountains were perfect for pirates hiding goods and people. * In the Thai language, Haad means Beach. In the local Thai dialect, Salad means Pirate, so Haad Salad means Pirate Beach.
The pirates are gone but Haad Salad is ready for your visit with its beautiful scenery. Within a stone's throw of the white sandy beaches you will find swaying coconut trees, live coral reefs, tropical fish and crystal clear water. The picturesque bay is unforgettable at sunset and is even more scenic under the full moon as you watch the tide come in and out. Exclusions & Additional Charges
• Rates do not include personal laundry, gratuities, car rental, cost of food and drinks, personal items and expenses, and any excessive cleaning required upon departure (such as upholstery or rug shampooing, etc) or replacement of breakages. Fair wear and tear accepted. All the above charges are payable by you locally. • Renter agrees to pay the owner for the cost of repairing or replacing (solely at the owner’s discretion) any item of property, or contents at the Villa which is damaged due to negligence or willful default of the renter during the renter’s occupation, or which is missing. • The person in whose name the booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named, and becomes responsible to the owner for all payments in respect of the booking.
Deposit
• An initial deposit of 30% of the Villa rental must be paid before the booking is confirmed and a contract comes into existence. • No contract will exist until the funds and the signed booking form has been received and accepted . If funds are not received within 7 banking days the reservation shall be deemed as being canceled. Should the booking be canceled, cancellation charges will become payable in accordance with cancellation Paragraph hereto.
Balance Payment
Payment of the outstanding balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to your departure date. For bookings made within 30 days, you must pay the full amount of the holiday when you book.
Cancellation
If it becomes necessary to cancel all or any part of the booking, we must be notified in writing (email acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received. The following cancellation charges will be payable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing:
• Up to 30days : full refund of their deposit less bank transfer fees • 30 to 10 days : 50% refund of the Deposit • Less than 10 days : No refund
The above cancellation charges also apply if we cancel the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require be changed or amended, cancellation charges shell not apply. Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of Koh Phangan Holiday Homes.
Insurance
It is a condition of the booking that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). The Owner is not responsible to the Guests and their party for any and all claims including any accidents related to the use of the property facilities or locally procured third party services such as, water sports, jeep or motorbike
