About the home

Some 10 years ago, George and Ali from the UK bought and restored this haveli. It is situated in a small village on the outskirts of Delhi near Gurgaon just off the Delhi - Jaipur highway. It is 30 mins from the main international airport and one hour from Delhi.
The village sits on the edge of the Aravali hills and is close to Sultanpur bird reserve yet is only 15 mins from Gurgaon with its shopping malls and cinemas and everything the 21st century has to offer.
A stay here is an opportunity to experience Indian village life and is in total contrast to life in the big city.
The haveli is furnished with traditional antique furniture and is full of character. It is looked after by our chowkidar Diwan and his family who will take good care of our guests.

Haryana became a new state of India in 1966 with Chandigarh as its capital, and since then it has made spectacular progress to become one of the most prosperous states of India.

The Gurgaon / Kasan area

Experience typical village life from its festivals, weddings, and singing from the temple on the hill to the potter making his water pots and the buffalo tethered in the yard next door. The cows wandering the streets, the laughter of children and the clatter of everyday life. A chill out place to unwind with a book to read or easel to paint far away from the tourist crowd.
