Quiet and very peaceful, yet only 5 km from St. Tropez, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market, the harbour, a beach, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The apartment is a duplex (+Mezzanine). You will find downstairs one double and one twin bedroom as well as the bathroom. Upstairs, leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea and harbour views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. The decoration has been designed by Jabby Crombac, the well known Formula 1 reporter, the former owner of the place.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
The Côte d'Azur, the famous French Riviera which stretches from Hyères to Menton is set up to receive a large and rather affluent tourist clientele. The cities and coastline abound with first class hotels, in restaurants, chic boutiques,private beaches and luxury houses. But the coast is also Camargue and its keepers, and the great ports of Marseilles, Toulon and Nice, all three, gateways to Africa since ancient times.
The heart of Provence is in the hills that bind the sea to the alps. These are the sloping vineyards; the cultivated lands and the colourful scenery that charmed Cezanne (Aix en Provence), Van Gogh (Arles), Chagall or Giono. In Provence or the Midi the local people have a soft singing accent which evokes their whole relaxed lifestyle. They have no greater pleasure after a hard days work than to enjoy a delicious and hardy meal shared with friends.....
This is the picturesque Provence of Pagnol, Raimu, and Fernandel.
Gulf of Saint-Tropez / Les Marines de Cogolin area

Saint-Tropez is a myth everyone dreams about. The village remains the unavoidable destination for famous people, sea lovers, History, Art and Heritage addicts. A high standard world known events programme runs all the year round, contributing to building the legend of the town.
But apart from all those festive moments, Saint-Tropez remains a small fishing village, true to itself, with a variety of charmingly different aspects which the guides of Saint-Tropez will help you appreciate. Follow them along the colourful alleys, the Provençal market where you will find all the local products which have made the reputation of the village, the XVIth Century Citadel, and the famous Annonciade Museum
The coastal path, the visit to the wine domains or the hilltop villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, are so many ideas for an original trip.

However, like a jewel poised on its green mat, Gassin offers to visitors magic moments of mystery. One is amazed, with the impression of being on the roof of the world ! As far as the eye can see, the deep blue sea contrasts with the tender green of forest and vineyards shared by no less than seven wine domains and "chateaux".
After contemplating this unique panorama, one strolls gently through pretty, winding streets adorned with flowers. Now one understands why Gassin acquired the distinction of "Plus Beau Village de France" !

The beach of Pampelonne on the commune of Ramatuelle is at the origin of the "Myth" of Saint-Tropez. This 5 km stretch of white sandy beach is situated between the Cape of Saint-Tropez to the north and the Cape Camarat to the south. The sea changes colour according to the currents, seaweed and sandbanks.
How to get there
The fastest way to go to les Marines de Cogolin is to fly to Toulon-Hyères Airport and then rent a car (AVIS, HERTZ, etc.)
You can also go their by train (it takes around 4,5 hours from Paris with TGV) you must choose Saint-Raphaël railway station. You can rent a car at Saint Raphaël. You can also take a boat from Saint-Raphaël to Saint-Tropez and rent a car in Saint-Tropez - this way you avoid traffic jams (distance between Saint-Tropez and les Marines de Cogolin is 5 km)
