Shepherds Rest is a stylish and comfortable Grade II listed, self-catering barn conversion located in the tranquil surroundings of Low Easby which is within easy striking distance of the elegant market town Stokesley, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
Once part of a traditional dairy farm, Shepherds Rest is attached to the original farmhouse where the owners Amanda and John are on hand 24/7 should you need them.
The barn accommodates up to four people, with two bedrooms (both with super kingsize or /two large singles, dependant on preference), two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/diner. Outside the barn has its own private landscaped gardens, patio and pond.
Shepherds Rest offers you the opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery of the North York Moors. With available activities such as relaxing, walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, golf, swimming and much more on your doorstep.

A former 18th century barn sympathetically converted into a stylish and contemporary living space.
•A fully equipped, light and airy kitchen/dining area.
•Constant under floor heating and attractive wood-burning stove.
•Exposed beams together with wide reclaimed floor timbers throughout add to the overall elegance of the entire property which successfully mixes contemporary fittings/furnishings with small touches of original pieces of antique furniture.
•The first bedroom has a contemporary four poster bed, French windows leading onto a balcony complete with table/chairs which overlooks the landscaped gardens and pond. Stone steps lead directly down into the garden.
•The second bedroom is equally well appointed and features a large arched window giving views of the front gardens. This room includes a king sized zip and link bed, which can be arranged as a king sized double or two large singles.
•The interior is completed by a ground floor bathroom with corner bath and walk-in shower and a separate first floor spacious shower room again with walk-in shower.

Undoubtedly one of the prettiest villages in England on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and set against the back drop of Roseberry Topping. The boyhood home of Captain James Cook, with the River Leven running through the centre and its lovely village greens, Great Ayton is a great base for your holiday.
There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants with a swimming pool, leisure centre, tennis courts, riding stable and golf range within 2 miles.
