About the home

The magnificent 'Villa El Palacete' offers the most luxurious level of holiday accommodation in extremely spacious surroundings. Located in the peaceful village of Guime, this prestigious, detached secluded villa with its private heated swimming pool is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with panoramic sea views.

The villa has two Master Bedroom Suites each with their own en-suite bathrooms plus an additional 7 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The two beautifully equipped luxury kitchens open onto very spacious lounges furnished with an abundance of sofas and recliners enabling you to relax and enjoy the FOUR large flat screen TVs with full sky package (sports and movies).

There are several patio doors leading from the lounge areas onto the spacious terraces where you will find a 7 seater HOT TUB Jacuzzi for that soothing, relaxing soak and massage, comfortable sun loungers and of course, a large heated pool. Free WIFI is available throughout the villa and a computer for keeping in touch with friends or that important business decision,
In the games room we have an American pool table, table tennis table, and football table and just outside the terrace is a 64 Sq m three hole practise puttig green.

Master Suite 1 is an enormous bedroom of 42m2 with double patio doors leading onto the pool and terrace area, a large 42" flat screen TV, walk in wardrobe and dressing room plus air con for your total comfort, its en-suite blank marbled bathroom eludes the utmost feeling of luxury rarely seen in your holiday home! This bedroom and bathroom has also been adapted for guests with mobility problems and wheelchair users.

Master suite 2 has patio doors leading onto the balcony with outstanding sea views, 42" flat screen TV, ceiling fan, walk in wardrobe and its en-suite bathroom is spacious with twin sinks and a corner bath with overhead shower.

All the bedrooms are spacious and have ample wardrobes, 5 bedrooms have large double beds and 2 bedrooms have two single beds.

Bath towels are provided and changed twice weekly, bed linen is changed weekly and pool towels are provided for your use during your holiday. Cots and high chairs and two Z beds are available.

The enormous but elegant black marbled en suite bathroom 1 has to be seen to be believed! It has a jacuzzi bath, overhead shower plus a separate shower area with seats of 5m2, twin sinks all set in black granite. This bathroom is also suitable for guests with mobility difficulties and wheelchair users.

The black marbled bathrooms throughout the lower level of this villa offer a feeling of complete decadence with the highest level of luxury rarely seen in your holiday accommodation. There are a total of 9 bathrooms of which 7 are en-suite and 2 of the bathrooms have shower enclosures only (no bath). Bath towels are changed twice weekly.

On the pool terrace there is an outside Shower to cool off during the warmest of days and 3 hole 64 Sq metre golf practise putting green.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote, the sun-kissed & the most easterly of the 7 main Canary Islands is claimed to be the most exclusive. The climate is dominated by north eastern trade winds and the warm Gulf stream producing glorious summer temperatures all year round.

The main resorts are concentrated in the centre and south of the Island, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, and Playa Blanca. The most popular resort is Puerto Del Carmen with over 5 kms of golden beaches, rocky divides, palm trees and only a ten minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Del Carmen, Villa El Palacete can be found.

TWO Golf Courses.
There is a NEW golf course just on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen 10 minutes away by car. There is also another more established course in Costa Teguise which is also approximately 10 minutes by car from the Villa.

The Guime / San Bartolome area

This imposing luxurious villa is located in an elevated position in the Canarian unspoilt village of Guime, just a 10 minute drive to the main tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen with its miles of fabulous golden beaches and superb resort facilities. A large hypermarket is a 5 minute drive from the villa and an excellent modern shopping centre is located just beyond, plus there is a small local supermarket in the village.

Guime is a very central location, making it perfect for reaching the Island's many beautiful attractions and beaches.

Arrecife is the lively capital of the Island boasting some excellent shopping and is only a 10 minute drive. The beautiful international marina at Puerto Calero with a wealth of excellent restaurants and marine excursions is a 15 minute drive.

“villa el palacete” Fantastic villa great pool great scenery plenty to do for the children did't get bored thoroughout the whole two weeks . Will be booking the villa again . Was looked after by ROY and his helpers very very will your TRISH a very satisfy customer

“El Palacete - live like a king” This beautiful villa is furnished to a very high standard and is exceptionally bright, spacious and clean. A fabulous open plan living area extends over most of the ground floor with a large extremely well equipped kitchen which is capable of accommodating the largest of families. It's the outside living space that really sets this villa apart – a large pool, shaded dinning areas, several sun terraces, hot tub, golf putting green and a veranda affording excellent views of the surrounding area and for quiet nights, and early morning tea. The internet connection meant I could keep in touch with work and allowed my family to update their facebook accounts with holiday stories. Whilst the villa was fantastic, the service from Roy and Jill was excellent. In eight years of holidaying in Lanzarote my family and I have never received such care and attention to ensure we had a lovely holiday, from organising car hire (at a much reduced rate) to installing a letter box so I could receive letters.

“We have booked again for this year--need we say more?” A magnificent property with perfect amenities for a large, multi-generational family holiday. It is only a short drive from the airport if you precisely follow the directions.(The temptation is that you think that you have made a mistake!) There is a big supermarket nearby with all the provisions you need in addition to the generous "welcome" supplies. The owner could not have been more helpful. Only downside - most of the wide screen TVs are in adult bedrooms, so kids who get up early switch on loudly in the echoy living room. We arranged, through the owner a daily help with beds etc., which we would recommend.

“Fabulous villa” Stayed at this villa with a big group of family/friends and found it suited our requirements perfectly. The villa is very large and is set in lovely, secure grounds with plenty of parking space for our 5 cars! It was beautifully clean and very well equipped. The children loved the pool and games room. The two bedrooms in the annexe, whilst smaller than the other bedrooms, are perfect for couples who want a bit of peace and quiet from the rest of the group. You do need a car to get anywhere but it's extremely close to the airport and just a short drive to local beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. We would definitely recommended the chinese takeaway that delivers to the villa - it was delicious. Roy was very helpful and provided a lovely welcome pack of groceries for us. All in all a fantastic stay.

Oh my god! Pure pure luxury and immaculate throughout, my brother arrived the day before we did, and kept ringing me to tell me how fabulous the villa was, I was so excited and wanted to be there. On arrival we were not disappointed, champagne on ice, and luxurious bath robes we called ourselves the "red coats". We only ventured out to the supermarket which is about a ten min walk from the villa as the weather was fantastic and the children loved the pool, which was very safe. There is so much space that the pictures do not capture, we were a family of 14 and had ample room. The games room is fab and had many a tournament of pool and table tennis, we made our own fun so did not need to go out. We had fancy dress on the night of my birthday which we purchased from the village, so much fun and not expensive to buy. We took our computor but did not need to as there was already one there also a wii games console which we did not have time to play, the hot tub was amazing. The villa is not overlooked by any other villas so we had extreme privacy and no noisy neighbours. The service prior and during our stay from Jill and Roy was exceptional, very very helpful, thankyou once again. The villa is magical we all felt like royalty, a first family holiday (and not the last)to remember for the rest of our lives.

We stayed at Villa El Palacete to celebrate new year 2010. What a fantastic villa! There was 17 in our party and there was more than enough room, equipment and facilities for everyone. Everything was spotlessly clean and an excellent layout. The photos really don't do it justice. The beautiful electric gates slide open effortlessly to create the initial feeling of luxury. Then when we entered via the main door we were ecstatic. The pillars, the marble staircase, the lovely modern kitchen, the french doors out to the pool, even the scatter cushions and throws….we were blown away. The bedrooms were all lovely (especially the master suites) and the bedlinen was spotless and like new. A lot of effort has gone into creating something for everyone here, from the pool and hot tub, to the putting green, gym equipment and table tennis, plenty of chairs, sunbeds and seating areas and quiet little corners if you needed them. The wii was a hit with the kids, along with internet access to keep in touch with home. Coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning was perfect, with lovely sea views. The 10 minute journey from the airport is also a bonus and a taxi only cost 20 euros. We'd recommend a visit to the harbour at Puerto Calera for lunch or dinner. It's a lovely little place. (If you like chinese take away the Crispy Duck Chinese Restaurant here was gorgeous - although they couldn't deliver to Guime). Our only regret is that we only stayed for 1 week! Wish it could have been longer. Thanks must also go to Roy and Jill who were very helpful leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a holiday to remember and a great start to the year.

TARIFF:

Rates are for up to six persons staying in the villa. There is a charge of £185.00 for every extra person per week, up to twenty.

Terms:

Bookings are from 14.00 hrs on day of arrival to 10.00 hrs on day of departure (we can sometimes be flexible depending on incoming or outgoing guests).

A £400.00 per week deposit is payable on confirmation of bookings. Infants under 2 are free and are our guests

The final balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.

ALL GUESTS SHOULD HAVE HOLIDAY INSURANCE.
