Large two double bedrooms, classic traditional French seaside house with garden ideal for alfresco dining and barbecuing. The town centre, a small secluded beach and working port are all within a 5 minute walk. A must-see from the quayside or Haliotika, are the fishing boats arriving back every afternoon around 4.30, with their daily catch of langoustine and a variety of fish; these can then be bought straight from the quayside.
The house offers flexible living with Guilvinec town centre less than 5 minute walk away, ideal for couples looking to relax and enjoy a traditional French working port town. Or with the local beach only 5 minutes away and many well known surfing beaches in close proximity it is perfect for active families. Parking is available right outside the property on the street.
Guilvinec has many bars, restaurants, boulangeries, a patisserie and a renowned charcuterie; also as a working port where fresh fish is available daily.
The major towns of Quimper and Pont l'Abbe are a short car drive away.

Down stairs offers open plan living with an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room in one. The kitchen comes complete with all of the utensils and appliances you could need on a self-catering holiday. The kitchen has direct access to the garden and barbeque area.
Upstairs consists of two large bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other two singles; each room has traditional Breton wardrobes. Upstairs family sized bathroom, with sink, toilet and shower.
There is also a small downstairs toilet.

Private manicured garden with barbecue area and lawn. Outside table, chairs and umbrella shade (for the hot sunny days!).
Street parking is available right outside the house for those driving.
Outside shed for storing bikes; none with property but available for hire in town.
Many amenities within a 5 min walk; including – local-supermarket, restaurants, takeaways, bank, bars, cycle hire and local markets on Sunday and Tuesday.

The Brittany / Finistere region
Classic Brittany port town. Brittany’s vast shoreline makes up a third of the country’s coast, stretching out to France’s most westerly point. Distinctive craggy rocks frame hidden coves, and miles of quiet beaches offer an alternative to the bustle of southern coasts and make Brittany a popular destination amongst travellers of all nationalities, people here are renowned for their friendliness.
The Guilvinec area
Lots of excellent beaches and many days out. The more remote western region is still visibly influenced by ancient Breton culture. Many people still wear lace headdresses and speak Breton, a language that bears greater resemblance to Welsh than to French.
During April and May, there are guided tours of the many tulip fields surrounding the local area.
Menhirs and other historical sites are within a short car journey and provide an excellent day trip.
