Honeysuckle cottage is a very quaint character 19th century cottage, benefiting from having a patio and garden, giving you (and your pet) a place to relax almost as though you were right out in the countryside. Yet, it's within walking distance of Hastings town centre and just over an hour away from London. Hastings is the heart of 1066 country, it has a wealth of historical sights, along with spectacular countryside. The medieval town of Rye, with its fishing harbour and the sandy beaches of Camber are just a short distance away. Honeysuckle cottage has two bedrooms (sleeping four) and a large, secure rear garden. Pets are very welcome. There are a multitude of beautiful walks in the area. Hastings Country Park, 660 acres of ancient woodland, grassland and heathland that stretch across five miles of exposed cliffs and rugged terrain. In addition, just a short distance from the house, is St Helens wood, a beautiful 104 acre estate. "On entering the site's heavily wooded boundary you'll feel like you have stepped into a little piece of countryside."
Enjoy an el fresco evening by making use of the gas bbq and enjoying the views. Alternatively the cottage has a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, or there are a variety of take aways close by.
Or if you prefer, after a long day's walking (catering for pooch) there's nothing better than being waited on, there's a choice of an informal snack in one of the area's many character filled pubs, to fine dining in one of the nearby restaurants or country hotels.
