In the green heart of Italy,Umbria,you will find our country house Villa finetti ex-monastery renovated,8 apartments of different width in the wonderful countryside of the medioeval town of Gubbio.
It is ideal for a relaxing holiday in the umbrian typical rolling hills,with a lot of historical sites ;first of all the very nice medioeval town of Gubbio (5 km) one of the most beautiful throughout the Italy's central regions famous also for its roman origin.
In may there is the medioeval "festa dei ceri" a folkloristic event from which the Umbria region takes his symbol.
The other umbrian cities are very close : Assisi (35km), Perugia( 35km),Todi( 80 km) Orvieto ( 100km)

The Umbria region

Umbria is known as the "green heart of Italy" for its nice and typical landscape with a lot of hills and woods.
There are a lot of historical towns like Gubbio,Assisi,Perugia,Todi,Orvieto,Spoleto,Norcia all typical medioeval towns very well preserved.
Umbria is widly known like Ethruscan and Roman land with a lot of testimonies of these ages.
The climate is temperate with sunny and warm summers.

Gubbio area

Gubbio is considered one of the most beautiful medioeval town in Italy,it has also testimonies of roman age with a nice roman theatre and other buildings.
The main festival in Gubbio is the medioeval " festa dei ceri" ( in the 15th of may) where three wood machines run over the town carried by tens of "ceraioli", people dressed in the old typical way.
It is one of the most important in Italy and from that the Umbria region takes his symbol.
There is also a crossbow challenge at the end of may and august.

How to get there

Villa Finetti lies 35 km away from Perugia in the wonderful countryside of the medioeval town of Gubbio.
In Perugia RyanAir operates with flights from /to London and you will find all the major car hire companies.
The other low costs companies flights are in : Ancona/jesi ( 80km),Rimini (120 km), Bologna/Forli ( 160 km).

You have to add 20 euro for each additional bed per week, cradle 18 Euro per week,heating 12 Euro per day ( when needed ),small pet ( only one) 20 Euro. The use of the swimming pool is included on the apt. rate.

The price per night is variable from the duration of the stay and from the n° of customers.Minimum stay of two nights 30 euro each guest per night.
