Guardia Piemontese Marina is on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea; the coastline alternates between rugged cliffs and beaches.
The small town of Guardia P Marina looks up to its sister village some 500m above sea level - Guardia Piemontese Terme which is steeped in history and one of the few remaining Occitan linguistic enclaves, this is a great place to explore after a day lying on the beach.
2 miles from the apartment is the Spa of Terme Luigiana, famed for its healing hot & cold springs, mud & sulphur baths and fresh mountain air, this place is alive in the evening with concerts, dancing and a place to relax.
With summer temperatures averaging 30 deg C it's easy just to chill on the beach or swim in the crystal sea.
Local restaurants can offer any style of Italian cuisine from pizza's, to locally caught fish and a whole world of meat, salami and cheese all washed down with local wine
