The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca offers spectacular beaches and a warm climate that has made it over the years a favourite with British holidaymakers. Boasting soaring skyscrapers, the main resort, Benidorm, is reminiscent of Manhattan and is just as vibrant with its heady mix of busy nightlife and bustling boulevards lined with bars, shops, cafes and restaurants.
Inland, however, the tranquil hillsides of the Costa Blanca play host to tiny whitewashed villages overlooking olive and citrus groves and lush vineyards.
Guardamar del Segura / Guardamar area
The town of Guardamar stands on the River Segura, around 12 km of beach; pines; very old trees; a Mediterranean park with fountains and lakes. Guardamar’s strategic position on a hill over the Vega Baja made it the ideal settlement for the various peoples that inhabited this part of Spain.
There are a number of bars shops and restaurants within 100mtrs of the apartment and the lovely Spanish town of Guardamar is only 5 kms away with its fabulous beaches and miles of golden sands. The salt lakes of Del Segura are right on your doorstep; you really are spoilt for choice of places to visit. Local horse-riding, karting, and golf are among the many activities available for all your holiday needs.
For those that want to venture slightly further afield, there are four main cites within an hours drive: Cartegena, Elche, Alicante, and Murcia. The popular resort of Benidorm is also only an hour away where you can visit one of Europe's biggest theme parks.

Bmi baby, Easyjet, First Choice, and Thompson are all good budget airlines that travel to Alicante and Murcia from most UK airports.

A visit to guardalest and the algar falls is not to be missed,
