The master bedroom is stunning and boasts a huge king sized double bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and classy furnishings. The second bedroom is also furnished to a high standard with a large double bed and marble surfaces. There is also a double sofa bed in the hall for larger parties. There is a fantastic sun terrace at the front with table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is also a rear terrace with tables chairs and sun-loungers. The huge pool is directly linked to the property and barely a stone's throw away.

The weather here is fantastic - in fact, the World Health Organisation recommended the climate here as the most equitable in the world. Neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter, this area enjoys a fantastic subtropical Mediterranean climate.
Costa Blanca or "the white coast" is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Spain, and with miles of white sandy beaches and its stunning mountainous interior its easy to see why.
Inland you will find scores of the traditional white Spanish villages (pueblos blancos), whose narrow streets are packed with galleries and workshops of potters and painters. There are fantastic little restaurants and bars which are run by the ever friendly locals.
The Guardamar del Segura / Guardamar area
There is an abundance of golf courses in the area. A championship golf course is within 10 minutes drive and there are four more within 15 minutes drive: Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamar and La Finca.
There are four cities main within an hours drive: Alicante, Elche, Murcia and Cartegena. Here you will find excellent shopping facilities and thousands of years of history and culture.
The beaches here are safe with a huge number of watersports to enjoy. You could also take a trip to one of the water parks, the safari park or try your hand at go-karting and horse riding.
The newly transformed Benidorm is just an hour away and has one of Europe's biggest theme parks (Terra Mitica) and a huge water park called Aqualandia. We recommend staying for a few days to really enjoy the thrills and spills!
If its nightlife you are after then Torrevieja is 10 minutes away and home to the famous nightclub Pasha. There is also a wide selection of family activities including bowling alleys, cinemas and shopping centres.
Locally there are many little shops and bars to enjoy. Within a few minutes walk you will find a range of restaurants (Chinese, Indian, English), a mini-mart and the garden centre.

Had a good holiday at this property. Everything was clean and the pool within yards of the property was great. Gaynor and her husband were there to help if needed but were not intrusive. The location is ideal if you hire a car and want to visit the various towns in the area. |

The location for us with two children was great with the pool so close! We sat on the terrace sipping Sangria and could still keep an eye on them playing in the pool!!! Reviewed July 20, 2011 We booked last minute and we were very impressed, couldnt believe our luck!, the owners gaynor and pete were very friendly and helpful as they live in the apartment above and were not intrusive, the large shared pool area was gorgeous and very clean and was literally just out the gate of the garden terrace which was very spacious plenty of room for the four of us sat out and it gets the sun all day. The apartment was very spacious, clean and very well equipped especially the kitchen as we chose to eat in most of the time. There isnt many bars or restaraunts in close proximity probably 5 or 6 and mainly English nor is there a supermarket so a car is a must. The beach again requires a car as it is not walkable but the pool was so nice we didnt bother with the beach. There is a choice of supermarkets varying from 5 to 15 minute drive and guardamar town and beach is 5 minute drive with lots of bars and spanish restaraunts etc. To sum up a very nice place to go especially for a chill out holiday, The apartment does not suffer from noise from bars and is really quite private 9 out of 10 from us.
