The beautiful medieval town of Sarnano is about 5 miles.The area has been known for some time as 'Gods green Triangle' with Casa Dorato right in the centre of it.The whole area offers an abundance of pretty villages unchanged for centuries most with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Dramatic mountains and lakes are a short drive away.
Ascoli Piceno and Macerata with its famous Opera season are about one hours drive, also within an hours drive are the Adriatic coastal resorts with beautiful beaches and of course the upmarket fashion stores. Assisi can be reached within two hours. There are lots of hilltop villages nearby and plenty of places to explore each little village having its own historic story to tell.Besides admiring the natural and artistic beauty, it’s also possible to buy designer clothes and shoes in the many factory outlets, where you can find the most famous products of Italian fashion like Prada, Tod’s, Hogan , C. Paciotti and many others.

Gualdo area
Dramatic mountains, lakes and the Adriatic coast are a mere 40 minute drive away. Ascoli Piceno and Macerata with its famous Opera season are about an hours drive,Assisi can be reached within two hours.
Set approx at an altitude of 500 metres dramatic views stretching back to the Adriatic coast can be observed from the terrace.

Further details indoors: Casa Dorato has a lounge two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and a lounge two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There is plenty of space for lounging around after spending an arduous day sitting by the side of the pool.
It is ideal for two families sharing or for separating the generations, or for 1 big party.
Outside there is a large car parking area, also ideal for badminton etc. Large paved areas surround the wonderful swimming pool. To the rear of the property there are grassy areas below which are wooded areas, then open farmland
Further details outdoors: Casa Dorato has a large 12M x8M very private pool surrounded by large paved areas and set amid walnut acacia and oak trees, Large terraced areas for sunbathing.
Wonderful views from the pool area, of local villages towns and down to the Adriatic coast. Casa Dorato has a covered portico with large dining table and chairs making dining in the shade very enjoyable especially with the views.
There is a traditional as well as a gas BBQ. The area has lots of designated tracks for exploring the countryside from gentle to more difficult walks are marked out.

Hi Kevin,
Was just about to email you to thank you. First day back in work so back to reality. We all had a really lovely holiday. The weather was fantastic for the first half of the week, the remainder was a little cooler but still enjoyable. We loved the house, pool and surrounding area. Eating out was a challenge because of the language barrier but also a lot of fun and laughs. Thank you for your recommendations of the locality and restaurants. We ate at Pipo and Gabriellas a couple of times and then in Di Cocco in Gualdo. The food in Pipo and Gabriellas was excellent, could not fault it and having an English speaking waiter really did help. All in all we were made feel very welcome anywhere we went. We will brush up our Italian for the next visit. We had a very hard time trying to find gifts to bring home with us and ended up buying key rings and fridge magnets at the airport. I know this is because it is not a typical holiday location. All in all it was perfect for us. We like peace and quiet, and privacy, and the villa had it all.

We had an absolutely fab holiday, it was amazing and if social services or the NHS paid a bit better we would buy Casa.Dorato!!!!! I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say we even enjoyed the spectacular storms and the little cloud that we did have, made walking in the mountains perfect. I just wish we were back there now, nearly 2 weeks back at work and I would just love to escape again.Still we have the photos to remind us. I have to admit my Italian was not quite up to scratch but we did manage to call a dentist and explain that we needed an appointment! We will definitely be going back to that area next year so if by any chance you don't manage to sell do let us know. Many Thanks for all your help and advice Sarah

"The description was very accurate. Only good surprises ( wine at the table and cold drinks in the frizz) The housecleaning was very good. And everything was in function â?" electric equipment etc.. ( we did never find the switch to the light in the pool ?) Kevins service was perfect. Nice talks in the phone. Sending very informative materials about the area. Very good information about his own experience in the area â?" restaurants etc. And when we could not find the house, when we arrived â?" a perfect guiding by phone. We will recommend this house ( and its owner ) to everyone. The place is perfect for relaxing and it was what we did, but we went to some of the restaurants in and around Gualdo at Kevins recommendations , and we was not disappointed any time.
