Nestling in the heart of the "Golden Triangle" between Gualdo, San Genesio and Sarnano, Le Casette is the perfect holiday retreat. Set in majestic countryside, the area is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and photographers. Close by are fascinating medieval towns with their markets, ancient buldings & local bars and restaurants.

The house has a private garden and swimming pool, and with one large family room, one double room and one twin room, its own kitchen and dining room, is ideal for family use, and for larger groups can be hired with its adjoining property Le Casette Piccolo.

The secret of the attractiveness of Le Marche region lays in the variety of landscapes Le Marche can offer: from the turquoise Adriatic Sea to the high Apennine mountains. One of the Marches’ greatest qualities is that this region is not one of mass tourism’s favourite destinations, offering an enriching human scale experience within the surrounding of its spectacular natural environment.
Whether you are searching for masterpieces of architecture or art, walk across wild suggestive mountains, fish in a Mediterranean port or lay quietly on a lovely beach, the Marche has enough to offer and you will rarely have to run away from noisy tourists.

Gualdo area

Gualdo is only two kilometres away. The local people are friendly. The village has two supermarkets and other shops, a bank, post office, doctor, dentist, chemist, dry-cleaner, restaurants, and a school. There are also tennis courts and a children's play area. Tuesday is market day, with stalls selling everything from clothes, shoes, pots and pans to fresh fish.
The spa town of Sarnano is five kilometres away. It has an attractive and well-preserved old centre, complete with an exquisite little theatre and an art gallery boasting several important paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries. Being larger than Gualdo, it has more of everything. Local bars and restaurants serve high quality, reasonably priced fare. In the main Piazza and the surrounding streets a popular market is held each Thursday. Reassuringly there is a high quality clinic in the town.

The house has been lovingly restored over the past six years to the highest standards, using, where possible local craftsmen and traditions. Chestnut beams, exposed stone walls and terracotta floors are all features of the house. Le Casette Grande is decorated tastefully throughout.

The fully fitted kitchen has sufficient utensils, crockery and cutlery for eight people and has a hob, oven, microwave and fridge freezer.On the ground floor is a library/games room which includes WiFi broadband connection.

Surrounding the property, the private landscaped gardens and fields cover 5000 square metres in total. The 10 x 5 metre swimming pool exclusively for the use of guests has a terracotta surround and has internal steps which are child friendly. Sun loungers and chairs are available for use at the poolside and we have two patio areas shaded from the sun for dining alfresco. There is a gas barbecue for the use of guests. The loggia can be used as a shaded area or to shelter from those infrequent showers.

Changeover day is Wednesday. Ryanair fares are usually cheaper midweek, although we can be flexible if necessary.
The house is cleaned and the linen changed on a weekly basis.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival, and a meet and greet service is available if required. We have locally retained contractors who service the house, garden and pool on a regular basis.

**Please note that if you are not booking both Le Casette Grande and Piccolo you may not have exclusive use of the pool.

Conditions

A 25% deposit will be required at the time of booking.This deposit is non refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance must be paid eight weeks before your visit.

A security bond of £250 will also be required. This bond will be returned within two weeks of the end of the let, provided that the terms and conditions have been satisfied.
