Accommodation in Guadalest is limited so this new (built 2006) luxury apartment offers a fantastic opportunity to spend more than just a day's visit in this ancient mountain village. Perfect for walking, biking and nature watching or to combine a beach holiday by day with a mountain retreat by night. Tastefully fully furnished and immaculate, our apartment offers the perfect retreat after a day soaking up the historical atmosphere of Guadalest.

The Costa Blanca is Spain's 'White Coast' and offers theme parks, safari parks, nature reserves, caves, waterfalls, markets, watersports and over 15 golf courses, most of these are within an hours drive. 4 miles of sandy beaches can be found 30 minutes away in Benidorm, along with plenty of entertainment! The Guadalest area

On the way up to Guadalest be sure to stop at the beauty spot 'Fonts de l'Algar' - beautiful waterfalls with a rocky path alongside to climb up. If the weather is hot, take your swimwear and have a dip! Further up, stop at the huge reservoir, walk across the dam, take a picnic and take in the views. If you like animals, look out for El Arca de Noe (Noah's Ark!), an animal sanctuary 300mtrs along the main road to Alcoy. Once in Guadalest itself, the history speaks for itself. Take good walking shoes and visit the Castle ruins, bell tower and museum of local history.
