The apartment is large and spacious at 86m2 it features a large double bed in one room and 2 twins in the other. The kitchen is modern and fully euipped including dishwasher, the living and dining areas are open plan and look out to the South facing balcony and the incredible views of the Eiger. The bathroom is modern and has a shower over bath. All the furnishings are new and in a contemporary style. There is a flat screen TV wth satellite television

The Bern/Obwalden region

Grindelwald is one of the worlds oldest ski resorts in the world, British ski pioneers first came to this corner of the Bernese Oberland in the 1880's and ever since it has turned into a bustling and pretty resort with chocolate box chalets dotted throughout. It is a true dual season resort with the summer bringin hikers from all over the world to try out the renowned walking trails in the area, and during the winter for its wonderful skiing slopes. Interlaken is 18km down the mountain where you can enjoy taking a picnic and swimming in Lake Breinz or Thun during the summer months.

Grindelwald area

There are many towns along Lakes Brienz and Thun to visit during all seasons. Interlaken is a good place to start there with its little shops and restaurants and during the summer you can cycle around parts of the lakes and in the winter especially around Christmas time you should vist some of the many markets selling local produce and serving up gluhwine.The capital of Switzerland is Bern which is 70km away and well worth a visit, it is a very pretty city with wonderful architecture

The nearest airports are Bern, Basel or Zurich, EasyJet fly to Basel
