The Tuscany region

From the Etruscans to the Romans to the Renaissance, Tuscany is possibly the greatest repository of art in the world, from extraordinary paintings and sculpture to frescoes and architectural masterpieces.

Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons. Many come in search of fine art, others to explore the extraordinary countryside. Gourmets and wine buffs descend on Tuscany to enjoy the simple yet wonderful cuisine and wine. Walkers enjoy the mountain paths, cyclists the rolling hills, summer holiday makers the sea coast and islands. Students come to learn the beautiful Italian language and culture.

There is a lot to see and do in Tuscany, the difficulty is really where to start!!!

Greve in Chianti

The house, located in the heart of Chianti Classico, is in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. The site is of untouched nature, very panoramic/romantic and charming. Very close to the house (4km, i.e. 5 minutes by car) there are the closest shops and the village of Strada in Chianti.

The house is very close to Greve in Chianti (around 14 Km, around 1015 minutes), Florence (16 Km, 20 minutes by car), and Siena (36 Km, 12 hour by car). Close to the house there is a golf course and a public swimming-pool. The neighbourhoods offer wonderful walking itineraries and wine tasting experiences. There are some nice market places close to the house: Greve, Panzano, Arezzo with its antiques market.

"Gorgeous Tuscan Farmhouse for a Great Price"

We found this place originally through an airbnb website (there are better pictures there) and not through trip advisor although there were a couple of reviews on TA. Italy was not cheap to travel to… More

"A stunning house in a fantastic location"

We had an unforgettable holiday in Chianti. The house is beautifully renovated, was spotlessly clean and the log fire was particularly welcome given the chilly weather! There was plenty of space for the five of us, and was a lot closer to amenities than we expected. We were met by the owners who were extremely kind and helpful.
Italy in February was truly Italian as we avoided most of the foreign tourists. We spent some great days out in Florence (25 mins away), Siena (45 mins along the gorgeous Chianti route), and would recommend the wild boar butcher in Greve (10 mins away).

"Wonderful barn in a fantastic location. A Brilliant Holiday."

A wonderful barn which has been finished to a brilliant finish. The place is wonderful and we all had a wonderful time. I would love to go again and spend longer then a week.

The owners were so nice and friendly and Luca was very helpful.

The place has everything that you would need or want and the views are just fantastic. I would highly recommend this place.
