About the home

Otaio has landscaped enclosed gardens overlooking the sea. The large lounge and dining room, 3 bedrooms: one double, one twin (2'6" wide) bedded room, and one with adult size bunk beds, bathroom with shower and kitchen make it ideal for those looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet location with breathtaking sea views and miles of golden sandy beaches almost on the doorstep!
Situated on the cliffs adjacent to Scratby village, Otaio is isolated enough to provide a quiet retreat. However, those wishing to use their car whilst on holiday will find The Broads, Great Yarmouth and Norwich all easily accessible, thus providing every possible form of entertainment to keep an active and adventurous family busy.

1 double bed, 2 single beds (2'6" wide), 1 bunk bed (3' wide), freeview television, bath/shower, ceiling fans, dvd player, electric lounge fire. Gas central heating and hot water is inclusive of the price. (Central Heating provided from 1st October to 31st March. Outside these dates, if you wish to have central heating there is an additional £30 per week charge). Electricity is by £1 coin meter.

The National Park of The Norfolk Broads gives opportunities to explore some of England's finest wildlife in a beautiful wetland environment. The very fine city of Norwich is modern and vibrant, whilst Great Yarmouth caters for a more traditional seaside holiday taste.

Scratby is a coastal village offering miles and miles of often deserted wide sandy beaches ideal for summer dips and seal watching. There is a village pub and a few small restaurants and shops within a reasonable walking distance of Otaio.

Great Yarmouth is 5 miles away with its vast array of facilities including shopping centres, theatres, piers and funfairs. For those who enjoy a flutter on holiday, Great Yarmouth boasts Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing, and three casinos.

If your choice of dates is booked, please telephone on 01493 733167, as we have a similar holiday cottage that also sleeps up to 6 people, just six doors down from Otaio, that may be available.

Deposit of £100 per week required on confirmation of booking. This deposit is fully refundable in the event of cancellation, provided that the cottage is subsequently rebooked for the period cancelled.

The balance is due one calendar month before commencement of the holiday.

A cleaning/damage deposit may be required.

PLEASE NOTE: In the months July, August, September and school half term holidays, full week bookings are required. I would be prepared to accept shorter bookings, from two weeks ahead of date only.

Bed Linen can be provided at a charge of £5 per bed.

10% discount for 2nd consecutive week booked, 20% discount for 3rd consecutive week booked.
