The East Anglia region

The popular Norfolk coast has miles of golden sandy beaches and is quite unspoilt.

Easily accessible from London via the M11 and A11, it takes about 2 hours drive.

East Anglia is known for its "big skies" and wide open expanses of countryside and unspoilt coastline.

The air is fresh, there is plenty of sunshine and little rainfall.

Being a flat area it is suitable for cycling and for wheelchairs.

A boat trip on the Norfolk Broads is a must to see the beauty of the lakes and the wildlife. See if you can spot some of the famous people's holiday homes along the way.

North Norfolk and Suffolk coast are famous for bird sanctuaries and seals are regularly seen along the coastline.

Local beaches are easily accessible and dogs are allowed up until May and after September on the beach.

Norwich is a beautiful, quaint old city with some cobbled streets and Elizabethan houses. Visit Elm Hill, and the 2 cathedrals. Take a city boat along the river and out towards the Broads. Norwich is listed in the top 10 for its shopping experience. Don't miss the permanent market in the centre of the city.

Great Yarmouth

The chalets are very near the famous Norfok Broads (lakes) and Great Yarmouth, a traditional Victorian seaside town popular with Price Albert and Queen Victoria. Prince Albert designed and built their holiday residence on the seafront, which is now the Carlton Hotel. Yarmouth has an endless variety of amusements, including 2 casinos, a circus, theatre, restaurants, arcades, skate rink and indoor park, miniature village, Nelson Museum and Maritime Festival in September plus plenty of rides and amusements on the "Golden Mile".

Sea fishing trips available.
