Norfolk is situated in the east of the UK and Great Yarmouth is well serviced by road and rail links. The area has many attractions, including the Broads, theatres, shopping centres etc.
The site is brilliantly placed for local attractions, from Caister Castle Car Collection to Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park and many more!
Great Yarmouth / California Sands area
California Sands was named after California, USA, in the 60s when it was reminisent of the golden american sands. It is close to the town of Caister which has a thriving community and lots of local shops. Larger still and only 5 miles away is Great Yarmouth with its famous sea front which features theatres, shops, amusements and even carriage rides by horse and donkey rides along the beach!
There are many family attractions, whether you prefer sight-seeing, shopping or sun tanning!
How to get there
The property is easily reached via Great Yarmouth (A47) or via the broads villages out of Norwich, Norfolk.
On booking with us, we will provide you with directions from Norwich and a site map for the chalet park.
Buses run regularly during the summer from the entrance of chalet park into the nearby town of Great Yarmouth and from there the area is well-serviced by further public transport.
The nearest airport is Norwich International which hosts inland budget (Flybe) and international airlines. Hire Cars and pre-booked car parking can be organised online in advance or on arrival.
