Great Exuma is part of the Exuma islands which are north of Cuba. It is renouned for its beautiful sandy beaches and shallow waters. The Bahamians are very friendly towards tourists and add to the laid back, relaxing atmosphere of the island.

An annual sailing regatta is held every April which is very well supported and you can't miss the junkaroo when the islanders dress up in Bahamian costume and play native music.

The island can be explored by car or boat to discover all its tropical beauty.

Great Exuma

Georgetown is the capital of great Exuma. It is a small town and has two supermarkets, liquor stores, gas station, banks, a straw market, and boat hire.
