"This property really has the wow factor!"
This property really has the wow factor. The house is extremely spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The pool room is a nice touch as is the second lounge and TV.
The outside is just as well planned as the inside. Even in October we were able to sit outside on the decking most days due to the shelter of the surrounding trees. The grounds are huge, plenty of space to exercise the dog, play football & cricket. We also used the games room for table tennis and darts. My husband fished most days from the riverside decking and caught a couple of good sized Bream.
It is in a secluded position yet within short distances of many interesting places to visit.
We did most of our grocery shopping in nearby St Neots and had trips out to Cambridge, London, St Albans and the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Museum.
We have stayed in many rental properties both at home and abroad and thought this to be one of the best. I thoroughly recommend this property and we will definitely return.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments about Kingfisher. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

"Fantastic cottage, Superb grounds for our marquee wedding."
We consider ourselves so fortunate that we were able to have our marquee wedding reception within the grounds of kingfisher cottage. The grounds are absolutely stunning.
Family stayed in the cottage on the first few nights - 4 teenagers absolutely loved playing football outside and also having their 'own room'- the pool table room with their own music! The main room had lots and lots of space for a large part of the family to enjoy our nephews birthday together the night before the wedding.
We spent the remainder of the week actually staying in the cottage ourselves. It was amazing - so much space, so relaxing -eating late breakfast on the veranda, playing football and catch, waving to the occasional boat passing by when down by the river.
There are so many wonderful things to do at the cottage, I could go on and on. Our wedding day was better then we could have hoped, the honeymoon at the cottage was
awesome - if ever a place deserved a 5 star rating then this is it!!!!! Treat yourself to a stay there and you will not be disappointed
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. We are so glad that you chose Kingfisher as your wedding venue and that we were able to help make your wedding day and honeymoon special. Come and stay again soon!

The house stands in a wonderfully peaceful location in stunning surroundings, we were a party of four couples and there was masses of room for us all in the lovely house while at the same time feeling very cosy, everyone said what a wonderful property it was and I'm sure we will return for another holiday before too long as it was a welcome oasis of calm in a very busy life.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and we look forward to welcoming you back for another visit.

"WOW - beautiful place to stay, gorgeous surroundings, pure chillout"
Would highly recommend Kingfisher cottage to anyone of any age with or without children young or teenage, wonderful place to stay with beautiful surroundings sat by the river (fishermans dream). We went with another family and our children 4 of them aged between 11 and 14 who loved it they didnt get bored so much for them to do they prefered staying at cottage rather than going out. We will definately be booking to stay at Kingfisher cottage again.

"Everything you could possibly need under one roof"
There aren't many cottages of this size around so to find one this well catered for and in such peaceful surroundings was a bit of a find. The photos don't actually do it justice, it's just a lovely place to spend time and do nothing. Loads of games, table tennis, pool, lots of areas to get cosy in means you can actually spend a huge amount of time there without feeling the need to go anywhere else. Goes down as a highly recommended pick for me.

"Kingfisher Cottage is Stunning and Perfect to Unwind!"
This place is amazing! We were blown away by the natural beauty and the homely accommodation. We went with our 3 month old son for a weekend break and came home relaxed and refreshened. We enjoyed river walks, pub lunches and wildlife spotting in the day. In the evenings after a few games of pool- and a stress busting sauna, we cozied up on the sofas in front of the log fire with a local takeaway and glass of wine, perfect. We hope to return to this place soon as it really is a home from home with the extra sparkle or relaxation and luxury.
We are even considering it as our dream wedding venue!

"Fabulous home in beautiful surroundings"
We stayed at Kingfisher Cottage for 3 nights over New Year with another family, 8 of us in total, all 4 children aged 8-11years old. We were thrilled with the cottage on arrival, it was so spacious and still homely. The bedrooms all had lovely bedlinen and all the bathrooms had nice fluffy towels! The layout of the house is ideal if you have children as there are 2 alternative rooms to the very large living room they can play in - one is set up as TV/Games room and the other has a pool table. The large living room has a wonderful fireplace which you can stand up in, with a log burner for wonderful winter fires, and the logs were provided too! The cottage is very private & you would not realise it was there from the roadside and has a lovely river running right past for a nice walk.
We all really enjoyed our time here and would recommend this to everyone.

"great location for a family gathering with loads to do"
I hired Kingfisher Cottage for my Big birthday and had my extended family (12 in total-kids from 3 to 25 years old) ) for a long weekend of great meals, country walks to the pub, pool, football and table tennis tournaments and general partying. Its a great venue for relaxing and playing hard. We left tired but elated after a lovely bonding time.
We will be back.
