The “Fete du Jasmin” takes place at the start of each August, where onlookers are covered in the petals by the procession, and everyone enjoys the music.
Places of interest include:
• the International Museum of Perfume,
• the 11th Century Cathedral Notre Dame de Puy which sits at the heart of the old town containing some the Old Master Rubens’ painting,
• the perfumeries such as the world famous Fragonard, where you can visit to watch the master perfumers, known as the “Noses” mix fragrances for the most famous perfumes in the world,
• the Two Michelin Star restaurant La Bastide Saint-Antoine, which is just one of several world class restaurants in the area

We are a family of four adults and flew to Nice renting a car at the airport. The journey to the house was short and straight forward. The owner did recommend for us to go shopping before we arrived which is advisable. The previous review states the drive to the house is very steep and un-even; this is accurate and probably isn't suitable for small children or anyone with walking disabilities. The owner offered the use of a secure garage which is advisable as our car was damaged (keyed) in the lay-by further down the road. The apartment however does have fantastic views, an excellent pool and the seating area outside is very comfortable. With four adults renting this apartment the sitting room lacked sufficient comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements may be an issue if six were to rent as the sofa bed is in the sitting room and both bedrooms have 2 single beds.
The owner is charming, very informative and very helpful. The town of Grasse is beautiful, had a very nice meal in the 3 Garcons restaurant and it gives you excellent access to many areas such as Cannes, Antibes and The Gorge du Verdon. I would highly recommend the 'Pass Isabelle' which is a train ticket for 14euro taking you all along the south coast and allowing you to stop, get off and get back on again at any town. Cabris is a very quaint village 10 minute drive from the villa, some lovely restaurants are around here but you need to book. Overall this is a lovely area and the house is acceptable with some beautiful views.

"Rural France at its best."
Although the villa needs modernizing in some aspects it is clean and comfortable, the real bonus is its setting with great views towards the coast. The owner is really helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble. It is true that the access to the villa is steep but surely that is to be accepted when you book a property with the geography this one has,as for parking i used the owners garage across the road and never felt unsafe while backing in.
This villa is really well situated with easy access to all the best resorts on the Cotedazur.

"Lovely Place to Stay"
We stayed here for two weeks with my 6 year old and an 8 year old. We flew in to Nice and hired a car. There are a lot of steps but our children were fine and loved staying here, particulalry the pool and table tennis.
The apartment had all the facilities we needed and the outside space is great with the pool area perfect for relaxing.
Access is steep to the property but the owner allowed us to park in their garage at the top of the hlll and walk down the 30m to the property so we had no problems.
The views are lovely and the owner is discreet but very welcoming.
