Mosaic-tiled private pool of 11 x 5 metres plus Roman end. Extensive terracing with sun loungers, and with beautiful views to the hills above Grasse and down through the Auribeau valley to the coast. Pool heating available at extra charge. The villa is in a commanding but flat postion, set within half an acre of garden, so that there are gardens and seating areas all around it giving wonderful lounging, sitting and entertaining opportunities, equally delightful at night.
There are two patios (one with barbecue) with attractive dining furniture, and seating areas elsewhere in the garden to suit different needs and moods. The pool area is surrounded by lawn and varied planting. There is also a gravel lavender garden with landscaped borders and fruit trees. The villa has security gates and there is ample outside parking for at least 4 cars.

The pool is alarmed and is just outside living room area so easy to supervise. However, not suitable for very young children - contact owner to discuss.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
The Cote d'Azur has a wonderful variety of landscape and of old and modern attractions. The French alps are only 45 minutes away. The Route Napoleon has the most stunning hilltop views culminating in the monumental Gorges de Verdun. There is a magnificant coastline running from west to Marseilles and east to the Italian Riviera.
There are several beaches at Cannes and many all along the coast from Cannes to Nice in one direction (e.g. Antibes) and to St Tropez in the other (e.g. Theoule sur Mer). MarineLand at Antibes is a major family attraction and there are other water attractions within easy reach.
Cannes, Antibes and Nice are all very attractive cities which offer lots of leisure and cultural attractions.
The Grasse / St. Jacques area
St Jacques quarter of Grasse is 1 kilometre from the villa, and has supermarket, banks, post office, butcher, fish shop, bakers. Peymeinade is some 7 minutes by car and has a large supermarket and an extensive range of shops. 2 miles to the centre of Grasse, with its historical town centre and perfume establishments (with visitor centres). Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Monaco are all within a 45 minutes drive radius, as are the hill top towns of Cabris, St Paul de Vence and Tourette sur Loup.

By air to Nice. Easyjet is usually best value but also check BA. Hire a car with your favoured company or check websites like CarHire 3000 or Argus. 30 minutes by car to Les Oliviers along A8 - exit 42. Owner will provide detailed directions thereafter.
By road via the French motorway network on the east side avoiding Paris. Eventually A8 (Route de Soleil) until exit 42. Owner will provide detailed directions thereafter.
