Welcome to Flat 2 Abbotsrood a 3 bedroom top floor apartment on The Esplanade with stunning views from the lounge and master bedroom across Morecambe Bay.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, two large double bedrooms, a third smaller bedroom, a large lounge with flat screen TV. A new well equiped kitchen and dinning area and new bathroom with bath and shower.

The village is just a short walk away with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

The top floor flat overlooks the Promenade, there is an ornamental gardens and duck pond and a bandstand at which brass bands play each Sunday throughout the Summer.

The Cumbria/Lake District

You can walk cycle and splash about in the beatiful Lake District to your heart's content. with more than 3,500km of rights of way and 12 of the largest lakes in England.

Drive one of the famous Lakeland passes and take in some of the most spectacular views and scenery in the British Isles.

The Lake District provides limitless activities for walkers, mountaineers, adventure seekers, wildlife enthusiasts and historians alike.

Grange-over-Sands

The charming Edwardian resort of Grange-Over-Sands is set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay and offers one of the mildest climates in the North of England.

The village is a 5 minute stroll away, with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The top floor flat overlooks the promenade, close by are ornamental gardens with duck pond and bandstand.

There are 2 golf courses.

Cartmel is less than 2 miles away and has shops, pubs, winebar and restaurants. It has character and charm and is the home of Sticky Toffee Pudding. There is a racecourse. The twelfth century Cartmel Priory is one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the North of England.

Grange railway station has been restored to its former Victorian grandeur. The local train service provides a pleasant coastal trip to Arnside or you can visit historic Lancaster.

Take a guided walk across the sands of Morcambe Bay from Arnside to Kents Bank (approx 8 miles).

Skydive North West takes off from Cark Airfield Flookburgh.

Bigland Outdoor Activity Centre offers fishing, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, archery, target shooting and other activities and is just 5.5 miles away.
