Pretty Ivy Clad cottage converted from the original cider press. It is set 6 acres of garden which it shares with our own house but is not overlooked.

On the ground floor there is a large dinning room, large lounge with patio doors out to garden with views of lovely rolling hills. It has a large kitchen with eating area and additionally off the kitchen there is a wc and a shower.

On the second floor is the main bedroom with patio doors to an outside stone stairecase. The second bedroom is also spacious and the third is smaller but still has a double bed. There are sofa beds in the main and second bedrooms

The Normandy region

Basse Normandy has always been a favourite for holdays. It has a wonderful coastline lined with chic towns such as Deauville and Honfleur.

Inland there is a variety of countryside with the rolling hills of Calvados, renown for its mllk and apple production, to wider hillier areas around Pont D`Ouilly, where rock climbing, paragliding, and caving are possible.

The Chateaus to visit are too numerous to mention, plus at Bayeaux the famous tapestry, and of course the D Day Landing Beaches.

Grandmesnil

Grandmesnil is a small farming village, it has no shops but Trun is just 5 mins drive away and has all the necessary shops, with Argentan for larger shopping days
