The Mauritius North Coast/Grand Baie region
Grand Baie is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mauritius. It is located on the northwestern coast of Mauritius where you will find spectacular scenery and a wide variety of activities.
Most tourists come to Grand Baie for the breathtaking scenery and the crystal clear water and the soft, white sandy beaches. It is also well known for a wide variety of water sports like scuba diving and snorkeling etc. The submarine cruises available here are quite famous as well.
There’s lots to see and do here, making it an ideal holiday location for anyone wanting either peace and relaxation or a more active holiday.
Grande Gaube area
Grand Gaube is a quiet and friendly village located on the North East coast and it enjoys some of the best climate of the island. You can enjoy the crystal clear waters of the lagoon and the fine sandy beach.
There are spectacular views of the off-shore islands of Coin de Mire (Gunners Coin), Ile Plat (Flat Island), Ile Ronde (Round Island) and Ile Serpent (Shake Island. Grand Gaube is 5 minutes from Cap Malerheux and just 15 minutes drive from the tourist hub of Grand Baie.
