About the home
Beautifully presented luxury holiday home in the heart of the French Alps. We are open all year to welcome groups of all sizes. In winter we have access to 265km of superb skiing and snowboarding terrain for all abilities, with amazing views of Mont Blanc.
The chalet has been designed as a luxury get away. We have a hot tub to relax in on the covered deck - a beautiful place to enjoy a gin and tonic and watch the stars.

We can also arrange in house massage, facials, or even a session of Yoga. Alternatively relax in our open plan lounge watching a good film from our DVD library on the home cinema system, while the log burner crackles away in the corner. If you take our catered service, mulled wine awaits your return from the slopes, or in summer a cocktail on the balcony is just the ticket before a splendid dinner by candlelight.
The chalet can be booked as a whole or alternatively by the room. Everyone is welcome and we can offer the following services if required; childcare, transfers, accompanied skiing, special occasion treats, conference hosting, wedding receptions and workshop courses as listed on our website.

The summer is an ideal time to enjoy white water rafting, mountain hikes, cycling or simply come and relax in the sunshine in one of the alpine pastures or lakeside beaches. We are close to all amenities and can offer catering for that all indulgent holiday treat.

The chalet can be booked on a catered/self catered basis during the winter and summer. You can book the whole property or just a room.
Our catered rates include, breakfast, afternoon tea, and a 3 course meal on 6 nights of your stay with wine or beer. We also provide pack lunches if required for the day on the slopes.
Our excellent chef can cater for all dietry requirements.

The Grand Massif is a place of true natural beauty. The river Giffre runs through the valley, with dramatic mountains rising on both sides. Traditionally a farming area, the buildings are steeped in history, with the nearby town of Samoens world famous for its stone masonary.
The national park of Sixt is a walkers or cross country skiers paradise, with different graded routes for all abilities. In winter the snow record is excellent as we are situated next to Mont Blanc, and in summer, the temperature is a balmy 25 - 30 degrees, in the valley, with cooler air as you climb higher into the mountains.
We are only an hour from the cities of Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix, all beautiful in which to spend the day exploring the historic streets and marvel at the architecture. Geneva and Annecy have really beautiful lakes, where you can hire boats or bikes to explore the area. In Chamonix you can catch the cable car, to get up close and personal with Mont Blanc.
The Grand Massif / Morillon area
The resort of Morillon offers activities all year round. In the winter you can ski, snowboard, snow shoe, ride a hisky drawn sleigh or simply relax in a mountain cafe.
In summer, the temperature is lovely, the nearby lake is great for picnics and swimming, or try the tree top adventure park, tennis, horse riding, trampoling, mountain biking, parapenting, of hiling in the alpine pastures. The village also had speciality shops and a great weekly market.

We are situated just one hour from Geneva airport, serviced by many of the low cost airlines, such as Easyjet, Bmi Baby, Jet 2, British Airways, Air france and of course Swiss.
Alternatively you can reach us by Eurotunnel, change at Paris and we can arrange to collect you from Geneva train station or you can choose to hire a car.
Or you can drive, it's a very simple route and takes 8 hours from Calais.

We had heard good things about Chalet Pomet from other visitors, but it still took us by surprise! Much much larger than we had anticipated, and beautifully furnished. Added attraction for me was the Hot Tub, to lounge in there with a glass of bubbles and simply gaze out over snow capped mountains was bliss. Even though we weren't there in the ski season, there was plenty to see and enjoy. We were throughly spoilt by Sarah and Helen with food, local information, and that little extra personal attention. We were soooo pleased we spent time there and would love to go back in the future. Thank you |

During the Ski Season December 20th to April 21st the Chalet is CATERED. This includes, breakfast, afternoon tea, and a three course meal on 6 nights of your stay. We can cater for children, and any special dietary requests.We are offering a couple of weeks in January as SELF CATERED.
The rates shown for dates outside of this period are for SELF CATERING, this includes, Towels and Linens. We will consider self catered bookings for the ski season, please email your enquiry.
